This place is perfect. Bar Harbor is crowded but for some reason both times we went here we got in with no wait and had our food and drinks quickly. The food is amazing and the drinks creative and upscale. The trick is going to...their cocktail garden. You can get full menu service there without having to deal with overstretched wait staff. You order from the walk up window and the food comes to you....quickly and deliciously! Great ambiance, too.More

We had dinner and we’re warned that food is“ small plates” served to a table as it’s ready. My soup arrived first, the mussels arrived 45 minutes later and the carrots after the mussels. We ordered two glasses of wine when we were seated. The...glasses arrived, empty, quickly but we didn’t get the wine until we complained after some of the food was served. The food preparation was below average.More

Fantastic meal and lovely outdoor area, with greenery and a fountain. We shared the kale and Brussels salad, the heirloom carrots, the lamb toast and the lobster crepe. Everything was delicious, but the lamb toast and lobster crepe were outstanding. The service was friendly, and...very helpful. She steered us correctly in terms of the number of dishes to order.More

Incredible food and amazing atmosphere. So much space outdoors and every table is the best seat in the house. Very fresh food. Kale and the beef skewers were so good we came back twice for them. Delicious cocktails. So happy they were in Bar Harbor...for a break from the delicious lobster. CarrieMore

We were looking for a light dinner and found Project Social based on recommendations. We loved the quaint garden atmosphere. Service was very efficient. I ordered their seafood chowder and my husband ordered their beef skewers. My chowder was nice and filling. Not as great...as other restaurants in the area but still acceptable. The beef skewers were spicy but very tasty. An enjoyable dinner.More

This was such a lovely place! Tucked into a yard, well appointed with beautiful landscaping, you sit and eat wonderful small plates. What a treat! My husband and i had some excellent wine and 4 different small plates all of which went together and were...so good! Our waitress, Emma, was the best- attentive and personable. What a fabulous place - we highly recommend it!More

Finding a good meal in Bar Harbor, especially in the summer, can be difficult. This place was so good we went twice in three days. Most of the seating is outdoors, but we sat at a hightop in the bar in the cool September evenings....Talented and capable bartenders served up terrific cocktails. And the food, tapas, many with local ingredients, were uniformly delicious. Good menu, plenty to choose from. Not particularly Spanish, the association that tapas are usually thought of. The roasted potatoes are usually served with a romanesco sauce. Here they are drizzled with creamy smoked paprika sauce...and they were great. We had most of the menu over the course of our visits, and we liked everything we were served. The place was friendly, and lively. No reservations, strictly walk-ins. So if you have to wait, put your name on the list and stroll the town. Thus will be our go-to on future BH visits. And a shout out to our server, Corey!!More

We happened upon this place when we were looking for a place to have a drink. The setting was magical, our server was super nice and attentive even though he was busy. We had drinks and a small plate and can't wait to go back...another time for a bigger meal. We were in the mood for a chocolate martini but it wasn't on the drink list. However, our server came out with two to surprise us!More

My wife and I ate at Project Social Kitchen and it was the best restaurant we ate at in town for the week. It is tapas style with smaller plates and we couldn’t have been happier. Out waitress Sky was great but we were served...by many staff throughout the night. We were unsure what to order and while we normally are decisive, we ordered drinks and one appetizer. That came out blazing fast. We then ordered another and it came out super quick. We expected sone wait but it was impressive how quick it was. The bruschetta was excellent and the pita and trio of dips were also very good. The star of the night was the kale and Brussels sprouts salad…so good, but it had sone heat so if you are sensitive to heat be careful. Lastly, we got mussels which were terrific. Plus drinks, the bill came to under $100. The only drawback is metal with tile seat chair I sat in was pretty uncomfortable. I’m 6’3” and it was the chair was tiny. Fine for a few minutes but not for an hour.More

Was a busy friday night - wait was 40 mins and was exactly that. Text service when to come back to eat. All the small dishes were great. Drinks were large and strong enough. Would highly recommend and suggest to end your night with the...crepes.More
