The food here is good. No question about it. There's a little more to want in terms of ambiance. Dinning rooms feels a bit crammed w/ all the tables. There is a room for large groups which is nice. Niji is always a solid spot for a special lunch or night out on the town.

Now this is a place that everyone must go to. If your on a budget then it's not for you. I rate Niji #1, when it comes to japanese food on this Island. The sashimi, sushi, the food selection is the best. You want a real japanese cook, then you must go here.

went for MY birthday but was disappointed on the choices of entrees and sushi. Actually, there weren't that many choices to choose from.

Went to their Japanese lunch buffet on a Sunday. They only had one sashimi; tuna. Come on. You've got to be kidding me. Just 1? That's a bit of a joke. Gotta have at least 3 or 4 to be considered a legitimate buffet. The buffet is only $37 per person and so wasn't expecting supreme service. But it got... More

Love their cooked dishes and the quiet comfortable place to dine. Not salty, fresh. Variety of sushi. Has steaks also, lots of grilled vegetables. Prompt services on drinks. Like the green tea tiramisu which has a hint of coffee. Good place to converse because people around me talk without necessarily hearing each others' discussions. I hope I can come back... More

We had a very nice dinner here. We do love our Japanese cuisine so we had to try this restaurant while staying at the Hyatt. The food was delicious, the variety good, the staff polite and helpful, and the setting was quite pleasant. The prices were what you would expect in a resort hotel. Overall this is a lovely restaurant.... More

For the cost of the lunch buffet and given there are so many Japanese on the island, I really expected much better food in terms of food quality and selection. The lunch selection is certainly more limited than dinner. Sushi are fresh but just looked like they were really made with care.

I had lunch at Niji on April 25, 2015 with my wife and 2 friends. The sashimi, sushi and teppanyaki dishes were very good. The desserts would have been enjoyable if there was matching coffee. We ordered coffee and after waiting for about 15 minutes, I inquired on our coffee. The waitress was very apologetic and politely advised that their... More

First I want to say that I thought the food was spectacular, it was authentic and delicious but the price would demand that! The decor is simple and the service attentive. Open for lunch 11:30 am to 2:00 pm and dinner 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The Soba, Udon noddle dishes and Donburi dishes run $25 + 10% service charge,... More
