I love the flavor of this Japanese food. I always order a Teishoku and plenty of vegetable, miso soup and rice are served with your main entree. Oh yes, I can't forget to mention the rice. I would say the prices are comparable to many other places. The manager is always welcoming and the service is fast . I never... More

Manager was a great guy and fun to talk to. Chicken Teriyaki was not very good, and the rest of the dish was average at best.

Small Japanese restaurant in Waipahu, see my reviews on Waipahu Cafe regarding the type of neighborhood, that's popular with the locals for food and drinks. What we call in Hawai'i as a "pau hana" place. It's where a lot of people stop by after work to have drinks and pupu. The food in the restaurant is good but not great.... More

If you looking for a nice family restaurant this is it. Been around for ages and the area and decor is dated but it's always busy. Fresh pies is what i remember and the food was good. Most visitors will not venture to Waipahu to eat here but do you'll enjoy the food. Friendly manager will tell you what the... More

A visitor to the area may feel out of place when stepping through the doors of this restaurant and bar but do not be dissuaded. The owner/manager is exceptionally welcoming with a super sense of humor. When in doubt as to what to order due to the expanse of the menu, throw yourself onto the mercy of the wait staff... More

item is not on the menu. one of those things where old time customers just know about it. bring your appetite. would be great if you have four people like a foursome in golf. just sit back and enjoy. do not be surprised if they move you to take two tables. that is how much food comes out .... and... Mom had sukiyaki while the rest of us had teishoku. Everything from the miso soup to the green tea was delicious. We've been coming here since I was a little girl. My favorite is the tofu steak, they bring it to you while it is still sizzling. If you are lucky enough to see the owner he may do some... More
