For most Filipino expatriates living in Hawaii, Max's offers a little bit of relief for the homesick crowd. It's a little expensive, compared to being in the Philippines, but it's as good as it gets.

It would have been perfect if the Kare- Kare's meat are all "oxtail and tripe" instead of the so very tough lean beef meat. Other than that, it tasted according to my liking which is the real authentic flavor of Kare-kare.
