Every visitor to Hawaii has to try Leonard's malasadas! This is like a doughnut only without the hole. If u are shopping at the Waikele Shopping Mall stop by the Leonard's wagon across from Starbucks. Ask a local or a sakesperson if u can't find the wagon. After u try one u will be glad u did! Your only regret... More

Having read reviews I knew I had to taste their Malasadas (Portuguese donuts). I first tried them at the Waikele Outlet as they had a food truck there and they were incredibly fresh, soft and delicious. (I later found out their bakery was about a 30mins walk from our hotel, so I had to go again. This place gets very... More

For those that think Leonard's malasadas are only available in Waikiki then think again as it is available at Waikele premium outlets. The caravan is parked over by Petco and there is only a short wait and you have your piping hot malasadas to take away and enjoy.Delicious as always and not to be missed.

I love coming here early in the morning when the crowd isn't around. Great morning malasadas for me and the kids. Nice hot and fresh daily.

Was at the outlets in December 2014. As we were leaving to return to Waikiki, I noticed there was a Leonard's food truck. Needless to say when back in February 2016, I headed to it. We had went to Leonard's bakery in January 2011 for the malasadas and really enjoyed them. Under $2 for one. These are Portuguese donuts served... More

I'm sure these are totally unhealthy, but they do taste great... and come in several attractive flavours. Like a doughnut but no hole in the middle, and somehow lighter and tastier.

Malasadas are like a beignet and a donut made sweet love and had a sweet, moist, doughy love child. Then you dress this treasure in cinnamon sugar and/or fill it with custard or chocolate.......did I mention that they make them and hand them to you blazing hot like they pulled them out of a volcano? And they want slightly over... More

This truck serves malasadas that are just as good as the bakery in town. I highly recommend eating your malasadas while still hot. Leonard's malasadas in particular tend to deflate dramatically as they cool, and you will then miss them in all their glory. I only buy as much as I can eat immediately... that's just one most of the... More

These are the most amazing malasadas. We ordered the sugar and cinnamon and they were delightfully good; they melt in your mouth - eat them when they're warm! We passed by their brick and mortar location in the city which had a line, so we ended up at the food truck location near K-Mart and it was much faster. Wish... More

Before you go on a trip, most people ask their friends and family what they should see and do! Our trip to Honolulu, Hawaii was no exception. We were told that a 'must have' was a malasada from Leonard's Bakery. Well, we were not disappointed. Hot and fresh...Wow! Had to get a dozen!
