Malasadas are like a beignet and a donut made sweet love and had a sweet, moist, doughy love child. Then you dress this treasure in cinnamon sugar and/or fill it with custard or chocolate.......did I mention that they make them and hand them to you blazing hot like they pulled them out of a volcano? And they want slightly over... More

This truck serves malasadas that are just as good as the bakery in town. I highly recommend eating your malasadas while still hot. Leonard's malasadas in particular tend to deflate dramatically as they cool, and you will then miss them in all their glory. I only buy as much as I can eat immediately... that's just one most of the... More

These are the most amazing malasadas. We ordered the sugar and cinnamon and they were delightfully good; they melt in your mouth - eat them when they're warm! We passed by their brick and mortar location in the city which had a line, so we ended up at the food truck location near K-Mart and it was much faster. Wish... More

Before you go on a trip, most people ask their friends and family what they should see and do! Our trip to Honolulu, Hawaii was no exception. We were told that a 'must have' was a malasada from Leonard's Bakery. Well, we were not disappointed. Hot and fresh...Wow! Had to get a dozen!

Due to traffic issues we opted for the food truck version of Leonards in Wailele Outlet parking lot...there was no wait. Ordered the original, cinnamon sugar, coconut and custard filled. They were all served warm and fluffy..,omg so decadently good...would love the recipe! Would come back to Oahu just for these!

I'm glad Leonard's has the Malasada Mobile in the Waikele Shopping Center. It's so convenient if you're staying in the Kapolei area (western side of the island). Our favorites are the original with the sugar coating and the cinnamon sugar ones. We got a dozen assorted: regular, cinnamon, dobash (chocolate-filled), haupia (coconut) and li-hing. They're the best when hot. So... More

They have the best malasadas. I come from the neighbor island and they got the best. I like to bring home 2 doz. each time l'm on Oahu visiting. Get it while it's still hot some "ono". When you're on Oahu look for a red and white food truck they are in several parking lot.

It's good I don't live here, or I'd be in serious trouble. We stopped to pick up some malasadas on our way to do some snorkeling on the north shore. No line, and since we spent over $5 we could pay with a card. The regular and cinnamon malasadas were divine. I don't like donuts, but these were seriously yummy.... More

I stop by this location whenever I am in the area. Although the menu is limited, you avoid the lines at the main location. There is some parking and a Starbucks across the parking lot

We were introduced to Malasadas by our guide on Oahu Private tours. They were sooo good that we also visited the main bakery. It's worth the trip.
