I just had a lunch at Gyotaku, Pearl City today. The restaurant has high ceiling and many windows and interior is most white (ceiling, walls, tables and chairs.) It is very cheerful. Staffs are very friendly. Of course food is great.

If you like Japanese food and sushi, this is a good option to have. It's a little more pricey than you'd think.

Gyotaku Pearl City is one of my favorite places to go for dinner. Besides living in Pearl City and being close to where I live, the food is very good. I love their desserts too. Try their sweet potato pie. Mmmmm. I always the get the combo dishes with soba, sushi, tempura. The have kids night and seniors special, as... More

The only bad thing about this restaurant is they're too slow in seating their customers. Even though you walk in and make reservations early, it takes them about 10-20minutes to sit you even though you have only 2 people.

The restaurant is nice, however not what we expected. The food was nicely presented, but missing some elements of Japanese cuisine; sour ginger, ceramic dishes. We enjoyed the friendly service, atmosphere and easy proximity to our business in Aiea.

Had a late lunch there recently. Didn't expect the restaurant to be so busy at 1:30. I can see why it was busy as food and service was very good. One of the better Japanese restaurant on that side of the island with full menu from soups, tempura, sushi, grilled fish,..

This place is a great place for Sunday lunch with family. Love their Japanese food like their tonkatsu, chicken, and comfort food. Parking can be tricky especially if making a left into the parking structure.

This place has very limited parking and is not as nice cosmetically as I thought from looking from the outside. There is plenty of room for people to be seated. It does get busy so reservations probably wouldn't be a bad thing. The food was average but did the job. Service was on point and very attentive to our needs.... More
