Thai Lao has a great selection of wonderful Thai and Lao food. As a vegan, it can be difficult to eat out, but Thai Lao makes it easy! They have many many vegan options (of course, plenty non vegan too) that are fresh and delicious. Also, the staff are very friendly, accommodating and always smiling! We order take-out from here... It used to be a popular Thai restaurant, for luch and dinner, and I have eaten there multiple times and often have to wait for a table. They have a good selection of Thai dishes on their menu, including Pad Thai noodle, and even Mango with Sticky Rice. Then in 2015 they opened up another Thai Lao elsewhere, and their... More

Very unassuming location in a strip mall but amazing food. The food price was moderate but the taste and quality were terrific. Much of the food in Hawaii is expensive and not worth the price (in my experience). This is a great restaurant.

They started out really slow, took over 5 minutes before the server came and helped us. But they made it up quick. Everybody's food came out super quick and was delicious. There were no complaints from any one. Don't get the pork skins they sell, bland. I had the fried basil chicken and it had the right amount of heat. They serve a lot... More

I had the meatball pho and it was superb. The ONLY downfall was there was only one waitress. She did do a good job with our group along with at least 4 other tables in the restuarant.

We are big Thai food fans. We were actually looking for other types of restaurants (more of the night life type place, because we were without kids this trip), but Kopolei and Ko Olina are not exactly New York City. I kept coming back to the solid ratings for this place and talked my wife into going. It's in a... More

Good food and good service. I had a chow fun noodle dish with chicken, basil, and garlic. Had some decent heat to it. She had a curry dish. I ordered some spring rolls and she ordered some summer ones, we both agreed that the summer ones were a bit too bland but the spring ones were excellent.

Our family of 8 (2 kids, the rest adults) ate here for $135. With three appetizers and meals for each of us. It's byob...the stuffed chicken app was everything we read it would be. Do t miss this spot. Come early though. Seating is minimal & there was a huge crowd outside waiting for seats.

Been craving Thai food since we moved here from Cali. Must say this place didn't disappoint me. Ordered summer rolls papaya salad pad Thai chicken and hubby had Combo PHO. I ordered the salad mild with one chili pepper - HOT but so delicious. Very friendly and great customer service

If this is your first time to try Thai food, i suggest you order your food with out heat (spice). This way you will get the full flavor of their food. If you like the way the food taste, you can always add heat later. They offer a blend of both Thai and Lao selections. For starters, get the spring... More
