Great for Lunch!

Stopped here on the way to the gardens. Excellent service and good food for decent prices. Lunch comes with a pot of tea which was so nice to have on a gray, rainy day. Char siu is very good. I recommend an earlier lunch time so that you can get a parking spot!

Excellent taro duck

On weeknights, this is a wonderful place for Chinese food. We had a relaxing dinner with friends. I have been to this restaurant when it was quite crowded and noisy. Great for families, celebrations, and quiet dinners. We ordered bitter melon with pork, duck and crispy gau gee. All were delicious. (Be advised that bitter melon is bitter, I ordered it because of a medical condition which cleared up the following day, so if you don't like or don't want the bitter taste, order something else.)

Wonderful food great service!

My Aunt and Uncle have lived in Kaneohe for many years so when we visited they took us out to Kin Wah. We really enjoyed our dinner and were amazed at the large portions! The rice, chicken etc were very good! We even had food for lunch the next day!

Good food and service!

Came here for dinner a few weeks ago since we happened to be on the windward side of the island. I’ve heard many good things about this place so we decided to give it a try. I just moved back from living in Germany and hadn’t had Chinese food in 2 years so I was craving a few of my favorite dishes. We ordered Peking duck, steamed fish, minute chicken with cake noodle, and scallop with mushrooms. The Peking duck, minute chicken with cake noodle, and steamed fish were my favorite dishes of the night! The scallop with mushrooms dish was good but was a little bland. The customer service was great too! Everyone was friendly, attentive, and professional!

Placed a take out order. And for the second time in a row the incompetent help left out one of the item ordered. For the second time I had to drive 30 minute round trip to pick up what someone could not remember to include in the order. I then had cold food. This will be the last time I ever eat there. I did get “ I’m sorry”. That does not compensate me for my time or cold food.

Family style Chinese food to share

Start with the crunchy Chinese chicken salad, then move on to a chicken, beef, pork, maybe seafood although seafood is very expensive, dish, and don't forget the noodles.

Weekday Lunch

SUPER QUICK and very attentive staff seat you, and start serving you immediately. The weekday lunch prices are such a good deal plus they are not Ala Carte like the normal Chinese menu. It's like massive plate lunch portion for super reasonable prices. My family is never as quiet at meal time than when we here. No one talks cause everyone can't stop eating the ono food!

I've heard they have new owners and I'm assuming that comes with a new cook. The customer service was above average. We were seated and waited on very quickly during lunch hour. The food was ok but something changed from before. Something was definitely missing in regards to the flavor. Of course we will be back for another try in a month or so

Overzealous service, pretty good food

We were seated instantly and no fewer than three servers asked us if we were ready to order. The dishes we ordered, shrimp and veggies, and duck with pineapple were ok. The duck was tasty, but the bone-in preparation made for a lot of work for a small amount of meat. The shrimp was sweet and succulent but the sauce was standard white sauce. We were given the check before we even finished eating. It felt like we were rushed so they could turn over the table. It didn't make for a relaxing meal.

Kin Wah! Always great tasting Chinese food! Ordered to go, Oxtail soup/stew an War Won Ton Mein with Veggies. No added MSG. No problem. The best Oxtail, bar none. Not as greasy as other places. Hubby loved WTM. Great service too! Thanks KW!

Great authentic Chinese

Amazing food! Huge servings! Was enough for 2 meals for me but my husband ate all of his! If you are Canadian, don't ask for chicken balls because they don't have them LOL There is a breaded lemon chicken that was awesome and the beef with broccoli was also amazing. The staff was wonderful!

We used to go there all the time but for a change started going to another Chinese restaurant. We recently returned and we once again said that the food was the best on this side of the island!!

Good Chinese Food

Went to Kin Wah Thu nite, 11/9/2017. Haven't been there for a while now & been wanting to eat some gon lo mein. The parking lot is small & is shared with other businesses so it's hard to find parking at times. Went around 8:00 pm & was able to find an open stall. The restaurant looked like it had been busy but diners were finishing their meals & starting to leave so we were able to get a table right away. Wife likes sweet sour cabbage so we got an order of that with pork. Her mom wanted the Kin Wah pork chops & Szechuan fried oysters. The gon lo mein was just how I like it, no sauce & a sprinkling of small bits of chopped vegetables & char sui. The sweet sour cabbage was perfect. I like the harder stem pieces - nice & crunchy and the sauce was just right. The pork chops were thin & crispy with some bits of diced peppers. We all liked the sauce on the Szechuan fried oysters. It was just a little spicy & went well with the oysters & other dishes. No rice since we had the noodles. Service was fast & friendly. The food was freshly made & prepared quickly. The oysters came to the table steaming in a cast iron tray. Overall, the meal was great. We shouldn't stay away so long next time.

Great Service from Daisy & Tasty food 🙏

Had family dinner, 2 adults and 2 kids on Sunday July 30, '17. Ordered crispy Chicken, combination fried rice, pork and steamed buns (one "serving" of buns came as a dozen), and beef rice noodles, a beer and a wine (plus our complimentary tea) . Service was extremely quick; all the food and drinks were delivered to our table within less than 10 minutes. Daisy our friendly waitress was a very approachable lady, also kind and natural with kids. She worked smooth and fast. She was responsive, enthusiastic and informative about menu choices. The food was very nice and fresh too, we were so full we took the rest home. The restaurant is tucked away in a small shopping complex. Atmosphere and decor very comfortable. Nice and cheap for generous and tasty servings. Total bill was $52... We had a really good experience.

Great Chinese Food!

This place has tasty food. Everything is delicious including the Chinese chicken salad. I would recommend this place for any occasion. This is a great restaurant, lots of parking. Only thing, it's always crowded.
