Very short wait and attentive service. The food was great my husband ordered the Portuguese sausage omelet with breakfast potatoes. The omelet was perfect but the potatoes were huge and cold. I ordered a macadamia nut pancakes with bananas. The pancakes were amazing, best pancakes ever! Overall great experience the only reason I gave it a 4 was for the... More

I had the Vinha dalhos moco style and it was great. Large portions and quick professional service. Menu has many selections and place was well attended.

Friendly staff. There's always someone waiting on you. Not sure what to eat? Just ask, servers will tell you their favorite or what others enjoy.

Quite some time ago, I had breakfast there and perhaps because I am not a great fan of breakfast, the experience was not particularly satisfying. A friend invited me to lunch there last week and both our lunches were simply "yummy". Service was very good. Keep in mind that the restaurant environment is very dated and parking is a little... We love going to Koa House, have been going there with guests for over 30 years. My grandchildren love the hot chocolate piled high with whipped cream, pancakes with coconut syrup and great hash and L lets. Nice family atmosphere. Parking tip; we park a half block away in Windward Mall parking lot and just walk over to Koa House.

The location and parking are horrible, but the food is great! The service is very speedy and efficient. The wait is short, so don't be discouraged if there is no parking or a line.

Pancakes were very good...Service was very good...Staff was very nice. It was just like having an American Breakfast. I only had pancakes and eggs...pancakes were very large, could only eat maybe 1 and 1/2. Would recommend it...It is old but it was clean.

I visited this restaurant 20 years ago with my step-father who was living in Hawaii. It great to bring my kids to see that not much has changed. Still Koa wood walls and decor and delicious and huge pancakes! I recommend sharing :).

Went in for a great breakfast. Lots of food for the price. Pancakes the size of the plate and a short stack of 3 really fills you up. Try the coconut syrup. Interesting, but good.

Waitress seemed disconnected to serving clients. We had to flag manager to get our order placed. Restaurant was not busy, She was the only bad part of being there for breakfast. Ezekiel was our food runner and should be a waiter. He was helpful. My guest was in a wheel chair, I thanked him as he assisted guest into his... More
