A place to have restaurant food in a drive-in. Food is always great. You can count on great food every time.

Great Teri beef plate lunch and you can choose a cup of soup instead of tossed or Mac salad. His short rib beef stew is really good....if and when he can get the type of meat that he's satisfied with. A bit pricey for a plate lunch, but it's really good.

My son and I visited because of Diners Drive-Ins and Dives. We loved the ahi cakes! It's always nice when you are in a new place and the locals come in while you are there .. you know it's good. Plus you feel like you are supporting the Local economy.

This restaurant was featured on the show Diners, Dives, and Drive Inns on Food Network. It was very good!! This is a local hot spot and the food was delicious. The portions were large and well worth both the trip and the money. Highly recommend this for a visit.

My wife and I took a group of ten here while on a senior trip from Alaska. We initially chose the place because of it being on Diners Drive-ins and Dives. Most of us ordered burgers, loco moco, and the teriyaki steak. My wife loved the Avo Burger. We all loved all of our meals, so much so that we... More

Dean's Drive-Inn was a local secret in Kaneohe until a TV show put it on the map and the increase in customers forced them find a new, bigger location just down the road. We ate at the new location and the hole-in-the-wall aspect is gone and the place is less personal and cozy, but the food is just as good.... More

First time visiting Dean's at his new location (much larger). I guess he has had more success since being features in one of the food network shows. I've been visiting Dean's on every trip we made to Hawaii for the past several years now and found this place to be one of my favorite "local food" restaurant. There teri beef... More

Have been meaning to try this place after seeing it on TV and was not disappointed. There were people waiting at 11 AM but it wasn't too crowded. I had the lamb with brown rice (choice of soup or salad) and corn chowder. Excellent! Friend had short rib cutlet with mac salad and that was ok. Didn't have any desserts... More

On our drive around the island, today we stop at "Dean's Drive-In", where the motto is "Local boy, local food". That about sums it up. It's claim to fame is that it's been featured on Guy Fierra's "Diners, Drive-In's & Dives" show, and his autographed picture is on display to prove it. The food is Hawaiian style ~ fresh fish,... Surf n turf and the special baked chicken for lunch, onolicious. Soooo stuffed! On a side road off the main road, but easy enough to find. Very chill spot to grab a quick bite. Nicely presented "plate lunch".
