Lilikoi Pancakes at Moke's is a must try! The passion fruit (Lilikoi in Hawaiian) sauce is delightful on the pancakes. Pancakes alone are not quite as good as Liliha Bakery pancakes (Liliha location) but still high level. Homemade corned beef hash with eggs toast and brown rice is still a local favorite. Fresh kale and veggies are in the frittata.... More

Everything is delicious at Moke's. BUT DON'T LEAVE WITHOUT EATING THOSE LILIKOI PANCAKES!! Got back home and am now craving those pancakes. Took a team of high school basketball players to this place and they went home asking their moms if they can make Passion-fruit custard for their pancakes...lol...LOVE THIS PLACE!!

We have lived in Kailua 40 years and had never gone to Moke's even tho many of our friends think it is the best place to eat breakfast in Kailua. We finally gave it a try and we definitely will be going back. The service was great, the food ono (delicious), and the prices reasonable. We chose 11:30 am to... More

wow - wanted to go back a second time but they were closed. Jeffrey is my new hero. I don't know how much amazing coffee I drank but he was always close by for refills. Customer service was spot on. Hashbrowns - extra crispy without asking, Omelet - delicious. My regret - not trying the pancakes! My sister in law... More

We enjoyed our American type breakfast here though the pancakes looked good. There are three rooms of seating inside and a nice covered patio for outside dining. There is no bar but you can bring your own or buy from right around the corner. Most of the staff was very friendly although our server was not. We must have rubbed... More

Moke's doesn't look like much at first glance, but stop in and you WON'T regret it. The food is excellent, varied, and well-prepared, and there are nice surprises - such as locally-raised rabbit patties. The price is a bit high, but the quantity and quality of your meal is worth the price. The friendly, neighborhood atmosphere is refreshing in a... More

This place was recommended by relatives who live in this town. The place was crowded which is a good sign. We waited and was seated in about twenty minutes. The hostess was very nice and explained the menu which had a different take on breakfast. She recommended the pa lilokai pancakes and it did not disappoint. Of corse the loco... More

I've been here twice and I like the place but all I've had is breakfast. They have a few special breakfast plates that look great but for the most part it's breakfast and hard to mess up. I would love this place if their prices were a little lower but we had to wait to get in so I guess... More

Mokeʻs ʻbread and breakfastʻ is a great ʻout of the wayʻ breakfast cafe. Until so far, it doesnʻt have the ʻtouristʻ crowd which means you wonʻt be standing in line for an hour for breakfast! My favorite (specialized) menu item is a half order of their famous fried rice with an over easy egg on top. Just enough to get... More
