This was my first visit to Boots & Kimo's since they moved to their new location and everything was perfect! There was a short wait, but all 7 of us waited in on the bench outside in the cool shade with the Kailua beach breeze blowing on us and everything was GREAT! The restaurant is probably 4 times bigger than... More

We were told a 45 min to 1 hour wait. After an hour and a half we were told the table they assigned to half our party was occupied by people who were done and just siting there. We asked if they could be asked to move "Crystal" told us to stare at them to make them uncomfortable and move.... More

Guidebooks and friends who were local said it was a must do, so we drove over from Waikiki Beach to check it out. Since they close at 2 pm, we thought we'd be OK going on a Monday around 1030. Nope, they told us it would be an hour and the good news is that we didn't wait longer than... More

I love their food, but don't love the wait. So many tourists go there now that the wait is long. That's the only bad thing about this place. Otherwise, the food is great, especially the macadamia nut pancakes.

Very over-rated macadamia nut pancake, served swimming in sugary syrup. Staff is hot helpful. Japanese guidebooks give it great ratings, so there's always a long line of tourists waiting outside.

What the restaurant lacks in atmosphere is more than made up by their pancakes with macadamia nut glaze! The pancakes are light and tasty but it's the glaze that puts it over the top! Get there early or be prepared to wait.

Yep...1 hour. We timed it just right and ended up at the back of a tour bus line...and those people aren't leaving the line until the tour bus leaves. An hour...if we hadn't driven over from Honolulu we would have gone down to the Crepe place down the street (30 min wait - more tour bus folks) or just left... More

The food was great! We went for breakfast & was very tasty. We had their specialty mac nut pancakes. Ours wasn't fluffy as i'm used to but the mac nut syrup was to die for! Awesome! We also had their pulehue steak &eggs. Now that was so good & tasty. Now the wait was long, 40 mins & kinda small,but... More
