I was taken here by my cousins. They ordered me up the macadamia pancakes and Portuguese sausage. I promise you, the next time I'm there, they will be my first stop!

If you come here only once, you have to have the pancakes with macadamia nut syrup (sauce). It's really a one of a kind and quite delicious. They have a new location since we were there before and its a little bigger, but its not huge. There was a line outside by the time we left.

The pancakes were great and we enjoyed eating outside. It was a little pricey but the macadamia nut syrup was a treat.

My wife and I stopped in early to have some pancakes with macadamia nut sauce. (what else?) and they were tasty, creamy, not too sweet and filling.

Make sure you are there before 8.00 am after that there is a heard of Japenese tourist that will give you a 2 hour wait. Trust me this is very important, you'll thank me. I had heard of Boots & Kimo's Homestyle Kitchen, thinking it was something great, but I was disappointed. First, somehow it made the Japanese tour books as a place to go, and the restaurants were swarming with Japanese tourists. (ever since President Obama decided to go and vacation in the Kailua area, the quiet community has been plagued with Japanese... More
