I had heard of Boots & Kimo's Homestyle Kitchen, thinking it was something great, but I was disappointed. First, somehow it made the Japanese tour books as a place to go, and the restaurants were swarming with Japanese tourists. (ever since President Obama decided to go and vacation in the Kailua area, the quiet community has been plagued with Japanese... More

There was a long wait, over an hour, but it was very good food and we had fun. The banana pancakes were piping hot and tasted great!

Great local spot in Kailua... Food is always amazing... I saw some crowds waiting outside but it's well worth it...

It is well worth the 45 min - 1 hour wait. We have a macadamia nut pancakes, and it was the best pancakes I've ever had. You will not be disappointed.

We used to go here often for breakfast but it's gotten so popular, especially with the tourists, that it's tough to get a seat unless you go really early. It was Saturday and we decided to take a chance so went down at a little after 7am and there was NO LINE! We were seated right away and ordered the... More

We usually like to go here early to beat the crowds. We had the typical eggs and bacon breakfast with the Mac Nut and coconut syrup and the pancakes were outstanding.

We went to this restaurant based on a recommendation of a French travel guide and tripadvisor. We were not disappointed! We come in fairly late in the morning and we had a table straight away. We were able to order rapidly and our juices and coffee were served within minutes. We had to wait a bit longer to get our... More

The line is always long because the food is great, the service is awesome. We tried the shrimp avocado omelet and mac nut sauce pancake, yummy! We were told there will be 20 mins wait but we only waited for 7 mins, lucky day. Worth the wait, great music too inside :)

We decided to eat at this place after shopping at Whole Foods in Kailua. Got lost several times while walking because we took wrong turns. We finally found the place which is close to Target only to find out they already closed at 3pm! We went back on another day this time for lunch. I know people actually queue in... More
