Located in downtown Kailua town. A local establishment with traditional and local Hawaiian fare. We were there for breakfast. Reviews highly rated it. We arrived right at opening at 7:30. The place was already half filled. By the time we left the lines were out the door--twice as many waiting as those seated and dining. So, get there early. I... More

30 minute wait for brunch was worth it, Mac. Nut pancakes were to die for. Also great service. Bring cash, no cards. The sausage was great. Plan on coming back for lunch. Suggested that we try the pork short ribs for lunch. Closes at 3 so plan on breakfast or lunch. We had the coffee and pineapple juice. Both were... More

This restaurant seems wildly popular with Japanese visitors ... and I don't know why but people are lined up outside before the place opens. Breakfast is the big thing here and while they have a complete breakfast menu it isn't really any better than some other great choices in Kailua ... and the service is definitely slower and less hospitable... Highly recommend this place for breakfast. So delicious and the service is great. Everyone shows the aloha there. I have not ordered anything I did not like. Get there early or be prepared to wait. Long lines, because it is popular for all the right reasons. My go to is the spam and eggs, but their pancakes with mac nut... More

The food here is absolutely amazing, hence the long wait in the morning but its worth it! The portions are HUGE, so well worth the money. Go early, as this place gets busy quick! Must try the pancakes with the mac nut sauce--its to die for! Prices are very reasonable for what you get as well.

Just to start, I do not like pancakes and never order them. Jonathan at the Aulani turned us on to this restaurant and all I can say is OMG. We had the Macadamia Nut pancakes and also had short ribs (2 kinds) and everything was amazing. Perry is the cashier and she added "icing on the pancakes" with her stories.

We came here based on Diners Drive in and Dives. The restaurant is definitely not a dive. It's in the main shopping area in Kailua across from the Target. There was quite a line when we arrived but we were seated within 30 minutes. It is a sports bar with all the football memorabilia, but not really as there are... More

The absolute best breakfast ever. The coconut macadamia nut pancakes are what they are really known for but you have to branch out and try other things on the menu. The food is absolutely outstanding. You will wait 30 to 60 minutes to sit down on most days. This is a local spot but is now on the tourist map.... More

As others have warned - had to wait to get a table. We were a medium sized family group but came on a weekday hoping to avoid the wait. It was still worth it - only 20 min. Amazed how many Japanese tourists w/guidebook in hand and tour groups were there. Nice that they have an international following. Split the... More

Besides good food, Boots & Kimo's seems to be a very good company as they give back to the community. The restaurant has a sports theme, good service, and good food. We've been there 4-5 times. It's best to get there at opening as sometimes the tour buses will stuff up the restaurant and make you wait. SUGGESTION- The food... More
