It seemed curious seeing that little barbecue when we parked. Inside, there were lots of great choices of different skewers. They took our order and cooked it up right outside the back door. Cool. We were very pleased with our little lunch and it was a great change of pace after all of the overly commercialized places in Honolulu.

The Hibachi was wonderful. My husband and I stopped by after the beach one day and we tried our first ever poke which he loved! We bought poke and fish for the grill from here each day we stayed in Kailua. Everyone who worked here was so helpful and even made some herbs and marinates for us to use for... More

Tasty AND inexpensive. The only negative is the limited seating. Any party of 4 or more may have to do take out only.

Love Hibachi, the food is amazing. Great Poke, and especially their dip selection. Incredible marinated meats.

We stopped in to get some food to grill in the evening. Not a lot left in the display the Kalbi beef was a little chewy but the poke was delicious! CHicken skewers were tasty. Big selection of beers and wine

This place is a market-style food/grill. They have many poke choices and steak choices. They charge by the pound. The man behind the counter really helps you decide what to order. He even lets you try the different kinds of poke first! You can round it out with a nice cold beer or whatever beverage you prefer. They also have... More

If we lived near this place we'd eat there every day. This is a cook to order restaurant slash liquor store. We didn't really know what we were doing when walking in, but they were nice and explained things. We had steak kabobs and they were just amazing with a great flavor.

Staying in a rental in Kailua that has a kitchen? We were, and we popped by here for some fresh, local fish: two fillets of swordfish-like fish for just under $7. And they marinated it for us. At Whole Foods (WF) we'd have paid well over double that. Poke was delicious too, though more expensive, still less than WF. Next... More

This was the perfect place to get some sushi and poke bowls, beer, and a small dessert after our long haul flight to the islands. Quick, easy in and out, and the fish was superb.

Amazing poke bowls for just a few dollars. Next time we visit I'll come here to eat every day. We had tuna and salmon over rice. Simple meal. Everybody enjoyed it.
