The restaurant was good. I had the surf and turf it was excellent. My husband had the Moi and said it was bland. We ended the meal with the apple/pineapple pie. It was amazing! It is expensive but a nice special treat.

Really enjoyed this venue. The seating is great and the staff was wonderful. Our server was well versed in all the cuisine offerings and their nuances. She even filleted our fish.

My mum and I dined here while staying at the Turtle Bay Resort. We booked through the guide spot who always made sure we got a great table. We got to sit out on the balcony and look over the ocean with the sunset and listen to the music at the surf bar. I was very impressed with the entree... More

The first night we enjoyed dinner here was wonderful so we tried it again just to see if as good as we thought. It was! So a 3rd dinner was also the right choice for us. One of those nights we had reservations about 30 minutes prior to sunset and since it was Sunday we were entertained by the Luau... More

Visited with a group of friends for a birthday celebration. Everyone was very happy with their plates- from the filet mignon to the duck breast, Caesar salad, fried fish with risotto and tofu salad- all was enjoyed. The wine list is generous with many Napa options. Service was friendly, thoughtful and knowledgeable. The decor and ambience is a bit old... More

It is always with some trepidation that the wear traveler to Hawaii makes reservations at the high-end in-house restaurant at a resort hotel. This is the case with Pa'akai, the top of the line restaurant at Turtle Bay on Oahu's North Shore. We booked reservations for the first seating at 5:30, in order to obtain the best view of sunset.... The service here was absolutely perfect. I cannot say enough good things about the way we were attended to. I think what makes me not give this five out of five is simply personal preference--nothing to do with the way the food was presented or prepared. I ordered the 8oz filet (I know, my own fault for not going with... More

I had the grilled whole pink snapper and it was one of the best fish I have ever eaten. I highly recommend it.

This was a nice restaurant at Turtle Bay but a little pricey. If you are willing to dish it out, it can be a real treat! Get out of your comfort zone and try the Foi Gras PBJ. So good!

Dried out fish dish. Lots of Asian inspired menu items but not able to really accommodate a milk allergy. Poke was good but needed to be cut in more manageable pieces. Waite staff competent but not willing to help with figuring things out to avoid milk.
