AMAZING menu and being from the Bay Area, we've seen great menus! Food was fresh and so tasty! We recommend the duck confit and sous vide duck breast with purple yams and edamame salad. The lychee martini was on point and the service was impeccable thanks to Jessica, Sabra and Chef Conrad!

We celebrated a family birthday on the balcony overlooking the ocean. We had amazing meals and great service. I totally recommend a fine dining evening at this spot.

We stayed at the hotel and ate here only one night, but it was lovely! We shared the fois gras, a shrimp appetizer, and the duck breast entree. All were delicious and beautifully presented. The service was great. We ate on the patio balcony and watched the luau on the lawn below. The setting is lovely. A special treat! While... More

Had a reservation for 7pm celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. No one was at the host desk when we arrived and we were finally seated at 7:10 It took the waitress another 10 mins to acknowledge we were there. She took our food order before asking if we would like a cocktail. We prompted her. We also ordered a bottle... More

We stayed at Turtle for over a week and ate at this restaurant twice. The first time we had basic food (steaks, soup, etc.) which were all quite good - but the second time my wife and I both had a dish that comprised of King Crab, another small local whole fish and a sauce that was exceptionally rich. Needless to... More

I will begin with the things I was not crazy about but they really did not get in the way of our enjoyment! First, the place was kind of dark and I felt looked a little tired. Second, we ordered the tasting menu the first time there and were promised that it would be small tasting portions. In fact, they... More

Our son and his bride hosted their dinner here for family and friends. The setting is romantic and elegant. Dinner was excellent with good variety and service was amazing. The price was no higher than other good restaurants in the islands. They certainly made this couple feel special and everyone in the restaurant applauded for the bride and groom.

This restaurant definitely falls in the category of fine dining, along with its pricing. The steak was naturally tasty as it is organic, free of hormones, grass fed, local beef. It was cooked to perfection. The shrimp was equally tasty. The servers are friendly enough but as others have noted, the overall service is consistently too slow. It’s unintentional and... More

Went with a family of four including two teenagers. Some of the best food we have ever had! Unbelievable service as well. My husband ordered the special- a fish wrapped/cooked in dough that just melted in your mouth. I ordered the filet and it was amazing as well. Had the ahi poke as an appetizer- highly recommend! Expensive but worth... More

Dining choices are limited at Turtle Bay, particularly since Roy's has yet to open, so we chose Pa'akai one evening for dinner. The views at sunset at picturesque, but beyond that, I can't really recommend the restaurant. The food was ok, but considering the high prices, I expected much better. We had our two young children with us, and while... More
