If you're craving smoky BBQ on Oahu, you don't have too many options. We stopped here and had filled our craving. I got the brisket plate and my wife got a brisket sandwich. I think I'd go with the sandwich next time, it was tasty on a nice french roll. They don't take cards, cash only. Limited seating and as... More

My husband and I were driving around the island and want to pick some lunch to take to the beach with us. Like most tourists, we checked TripAdvisor reviews for a good place to eat. We decided to stop at Uncle Bobo's for lunch. My husband ordered beef brisket, and I ordered pork shoulder and both were excellent. Unlike most... More

Yes, the wait is kind of unexpected given there were only two other parties dinning that day, but again, I agree the flavor and quality of the food it's worth waiting for, simple menu, standard prices for the island and location. Gorgeous beach park right in front. Go for it!

We were going to Kaula Ranch and needed somewhere to eat before. Came across Uncle Bobo's and was very happy with it. Very small eating area but a beautiful park/beach across the street where we took our food to eat. There is a little bit of a wait, but so worth it!

We were doing a drive around the island and wanted something for lunch that wasn't the standard burgers, ahi poke bowl, kalua pork or shellfish. After reading reviews on tripadvisor, we decided to stop here. I was already concerned I would miss the place and almost did. Look for the post office. It's right next door. It took a little... Uncle Bobo's is a small place that is run by the owner and his wife. It is not fast food, but it is good food. Your patience will be rewarded.

Every single time we visit Oahu we go to Uncle Bobo's. You might pass it by because the outside is not appealing but for a tiny " hole in the wall" place there is no BBQ like it. The ribs, brisket, salads are all excellent.......take home a bottle of their sauce so the memories can linger. Well worth it!!!!!!!!!

A coworker gave me the heads up on this place, and man what a treat!! They close at 5:00 on weekdays and 6:00 on weekends so work your entire Oahu visit schedule around their open hours. Smoked pork, beef brisket, rice and beans are the bomb, then for desert there's the Malasadas, oh brother so light and good. Much Mahalo... More

My husband made the IMPOSSIBLE request of bbq and mexican, and we stumbled uncle bobo's! If you're driving too fast, you might miss it... look for the yellow sign and yellow table umbrellas! Uncle bobo's is cash only, and uncle bobo himself is very humble and shy. His BBQ ribs are fall off the bone tender, and succulently seasoned to... More
