This restaurant was recommended by a local and we were hungry so it worked. Parking is in the back. Menu is limited and food was good. Coffee was great as was the staff. We would go back for other menu items.

Not a lot to pick from. No lunch items. Just breakfast. Don't look around much because the place looks like it's going to fall apart. Only go to the bathroom if you really need too. The service was friendly. Lots of locals eating here.

We visited this restaurant for breakfast based on online recommendations. It's rated number 1 in town which may be the case but it's not really that extraordinary. Three of us ate there and all ordered different dishes. All were very good, no complaints at all but they weren't extraordinary. We got what we expected and it was tasty. No more... More

My wife and I heard good things about this Cafe so we decided to give it a go. We were not mad that we went, but we weren't blown away either. The interior fits the exact definition of a dive. The tables, walls and a ceiling are falling apart. Our waitress was okay, but I got the impression that she... More

Cafe Haleiwa is "the" iconical locals place" to have breakfast any day of the week on Oahu's North Shore, especially on those lazy weekends! Their Bendicts- several choices including the Original, are adorned with a velvety, homemade Hollandaise. Accompanied by crunchy-on-the-outside home fries- it's heaven on a plate! Other great choices are the Breakfast in a Barrel, Heuvos Rancheros, Cafe... More

We have a family tradition that whenever we stay on the North Shore, we venture into Haleiwa to eat at all the great restaurants. And every time, we eat breakfast at The Cafe Haleiwa! This is a spot for locals, celebrities, and tourists. The building is old and dilapidated, an indicator that the food is not only great but priced... More

May not be fancy, but the food is wonderful. The asparagus/bacon omelette is special. Also the eggs benedict with avocado. Portions are big.

We enjoyed our breakfast at Café Haleiwa. My wife and I both had the vegetable omelet. Both omelets were filled with a variety of local vegetables. I had brown rice and beans with my omelet while my wife had home fries which were nicely seasoned. I stole a couple off of her plate. Coffee was good so was the service.... More
