It looks like the owner and a cook is the extent of the staff, so if the tables fill up it can get really slow. 45 minutes to get a hamburger and fries today. There are a lot of "real" Hawaiian dishes, plate lunches of all styles. It is sort of "old" Hawaii. It is also not too expensive, so... More

We have visited the Kaulapuu Cookhouse for years. We usually go with friends on Thursday nights as that is their prime rib special night, and also the night they have a local entertainer (now it's Bruiser) sing and play the ukulele. The food is always good no matter what we order - and as usual, plenty of it. The restaurant... More

Had a great breakfast here with Tina as a server. Mac nut pancakes were good! Stopped again for a lunch and the other server was not very friendly compared to outgoing Tina. Had teriyaki chicken plate that was pretty good.

I stopped here first after landing in Molokai. I sat out on the patio and the waitress, darn I can't remember her name...Tina? was fantastic. I ate the french toast and were I spending more than one day on the island I would have come here every day.

Great food. Tina came out personally to make sure everything was good. Very local feel. Music on Thursday night. Cash only.

There are not a lot of places to eat on Molokai - but this one came highly recommended and was definitely satisfying. The place is rustic and charming and very "real" and the staff and local customers clearly enjoy being there. We were welcomed, the food was quite good, and the prices very reasonable. Two things to note: The only... More

Great local hole in the wall restaurant. Great place to hang out if you are in no hurry whatsoever and sample the local fare and lifestyle. Probably what Hawaii was like 50 years ago. Don't miss this when you are in Molokai.

The day we ate here they were out of at least half the items on the menu. The waitress was, shall we say, having a bad day. What we did order did not come as ordered and the food was, at best, average. No one should go to Moloka'i for the restaurant scene but there are better places than this.

Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner are served at this local favorite. Closed a couple of days/nights a week. Building is a little on the worn side, but the food and hospitality (of most) are good. Tina, owner is very nice. NOTE: Cash only. Enjoy!

We were told to go up here for some loco moco by one local, best loco moco I have had in years! Burger cooked just right, eggs just right, little bit of cheese and tomato and chopped green onion on top! Yumm or as they say on the island Ono grinds. We didn't have any drinks, but 2 loco moco...
