Not much on the island. We got great survive and food. Happy we took a chance! Open outdoor space and lovely Hawaiian decor. Very laid back and looks like fun on a weekend.

The choice of plates is limited (4 plates) and they are not good either. The atmosfere is good and there is live music, but I'd recommend not to eat here.

Paddlers is under new management and we have high hopes for its future. Food is average. Burgers are best, especially the tomato jam burger, which was yummy. We had lots of other things on the menu (not a lot of dining options on Molokai) and they were good but not outstanding. Mai Tai yesterday was quite lovely. Nice staff and... More

Earlier in the day, we checked to see if the restaurant had Ono on the menu. We were told no Ono, but Mahi Mahi fish and chips. Also, live music starts at 7:00PM. Great! Later that evening, our party of four walked in and sat down at a bare table. After a long wait (I know, it's Molokai), a server... More

A local hangout where people were friendly and told us about their outboard canoe paddling adventures. They hula danced to the local live musicians. Nothing touristy at all. It was Christmas party dinner season for the local businesses, so this added to the atmosphere!

The food was good but the ambience was better. We happened upon a local organization having a holiday party. Fantastic music being played by the participants sing-along and lots of smiles. Food was well seasoned and generous portions.

I got a fish and chips as it was listed as special. It was a big disappointment when I saw the plate on the table. They used old oil to Fry the fries and fish and the fries were frozen string fries not made from fresh. They could at least make the fries on a special plate. I should have... More

The Paddler's Inn is under new management. The food was outstanding. They had a brisket that was very "Ono" and the chicken sandwich is now a new favorite. Service was helpful and menu had a nice variety. Definitely worth a stop while you are in Kaunakakai!
