You'll have to drive high up into the mountains on a mostly one lane road. If you are the passenger, don't look out the window because you will see a VERY long drop down! Julia has done some great marketing as she is in a little hut with bread, candy and some kind of jelly. The banana bread is expensive... More

Friendly service and great products. Love the banana bread and avocados. It's well worth the travel to experience the beautiful surroundings and the fresh fruits and vegetables that are grown on the island.

I'm not a huge fan of banana bread... But Julia's banana bread is a different story! It's soooo good. No wonder it's claimed to be the best in the world.

A lovely drive along the North coast of Maui....a bit winding and challenging at times...but Julia's is a hidden gem (just a roadside shack)...Homemade banana bread, taro chips AND Lilikoi butter that is awesome!! Wanted a hot, toasted English muffin to slather up asap....but none on hand! Can put on toast...the banana bread (a little sweet together) or a spoonful... More

Although difficult, the drive out to the stop was extremely beautiful. The north coast of Maui is breathtaking! The staff were super friendly and of course the banana bread was amazing. Unlike any other bread I've had before. Great way to spend a morning on Maui!

We stop here every time we are on Maui. It is our favorite banana bread in the world (super moist and flavorful). It may seem ridiculous to get excited about banana bread, until you've had Julia's. It also gives us an excuse to drive around the northern tip of West Maui (like we needed an excuse). The Kahekili Highway can be... More

We were driving the Road to Hana on a super rainy day, so we stopped here to ask if they knew the forecast at all. The girl working the counter texted someone to find out and when they didn't reply, looked it up herself, as we didn't have data. While we were there I bought a banana bread, which I... More

It was fun to stop in for yummy banana bread and drinks after the drive up from the blowhole. I recommend it if you aren't nervous about a very narrow one-way cliff road.

A beautiful drive into the lush green jungle to Julia's stand. Be sure to drive slow because of the single lanes and blind corners. You pass through several small communities with similar stands advertising banana bread, but don't stop! Julia's stand has lots of delicious options, but you must get the banana bread ($9 per loaf). Be sure to bring... More

We went to Julia's twice this week. If you've ever been there you know how difficult the drive is, so to go there twice means we REALLY wanted more of that bread. We went back and bought five loaves to take home with us. Other locals have tried to take advantage of Julia's traffic and to get the cars to... More
