Saeng's is a bit off of the beaten path and we just stumbled upon it when we found that the restaurant we were looking for was closed. The atmosphere was very nice with white table cloths, quiet seating and a nice open air garden. We had sweet and sour vegetables and Pad See Ew. Both were excellent. Vegatables were firm... More

I am often reluctant to revisit a restaurant that I had a great meal as so many times, the second time is simply not as good. Dims the wonderful first memory. Well this place is truly an exception to my concerns. The food was once again simply excellent. Fried calamari was lightly breaded hot tasty and tender. My wife had... More

This is one of my friend's favorite places to eat when she visits Maui. They have a variety of foods on the menu and the interior of the restaurant looks so much better than the exterior. Dont let the exterior stop you from checking this restaurant out. The prices are quite reasonable for what you get.

Food was good, we had the Cornish game hen, Cashew Nut Chicken, Chicken Curry Soup, and Pot Stickers. The Cashew nut had a basil in it that tasted like black licorice and ruined the dish for me, oh and the small Caterpillar that I found in it wasn't that awesome either. The game hen was good and so were the... More

Good authentic Thai food. Loved the silver noodle salad which was full of flavor. The shrimp with vegetables was a healthy lunch option. A fun drop in spot for lunch.

About a hundred years ago, but this brought back awesome memories. I had the Pad Thai, my wife the Red Seafood Curry and of course, we did have the spring rolls. The food was simply excellent, fresh, hot(temperature wise) and well flavored. A definite return is in order. Caveats: As was noted in another review, when we visited at 2... More

We visit Saeng's about 8 times a year. This inconspicuous Thai restaurant continues to offer consistently good food. The location is on a quiet street in the even more quiet town of Wailuku on Maui. Yet whenever conversations move to where there is the best Thai food on Maui, visitors and locals always mention this little restaurant. The atmosphere is... More

Saeng's restaurant is in the middle of a busy city but once inside you are in Hawaii. The environment is refreshing and unusual. The choices are unusual as well and very good.

Went last night for take-out and looked up reviews in advance. I was a bit nervous but am so glad we went. The pricing was relatively cheap for Maui. We ordered the Pad Si Iu and pineapple fried rice. I was nervous to find a tall white guy expediting. He was nice and friendly and helpful and sent me home... More

We were the only ones here which is always a bit scary. The food was amazing! Fresh and full of flavour! We had the chicken satay, fresh salad/spring rolls, green curry dish and the pad Thai. Our 15 month old loved everything as much as we did!
