Very authentic food, delicious. Service can be sparse sometimes but always adequate. Atmosphere is totally awesome, small fountain & Pond and most of the restaurant is completely open air.

We stopped by Saeng's for a diner shortly after we arrived Maui for a vacation. Food was fresh but lack of authentic Thai taste (e.g food flavor was flat with missing certain Thai spices and ingredients). Service was okay and the food preparation was a bit of slow but there was nearly no dine-in guests at early evening hours. The... More

A friend recommend this place and glad he did. Everything tasted fresh. I had ginger mahi mahi. Great flavor but I thought there would be more crispness. The calamari was ok but have had better. Best to get at an Italian place.😊. One in our party got the hot version of his meal and yes they can get their spice... More

The food was delicious and the menu was long with a huge variety to choose from. Service was just ok, and although outside appearance of the restaurant was fairly run down and unimpressive, the interior decor and open air environment with a beautiful garden was very nice.

We go to Saengs a lot. It is close to home and the food is great. Not too expensive either. I love the Panang, which has some really nice vegetables in it. Pad Thai is great too. I always get the shrimp in all my orders.

Saeng's is a bit off of the beaten path and we just stumbled upon it when we found that the restaurant we were looking for was closed. The atmosphere was very nice with white table cloths, quiet seating and a nice open air garden. We had sweet and sour vegetables and Pad See Ew. Both were excellent. Vegatables were firm... More

I am often reluctant to revisit a restaurant that I had a great meal as so many times, the second time is simply not as good. Dims the wonderful first memory. Well this place is truly an exception to my concerns. The food was once again simply excellent. Fried calamari was lightly breaded hot tasty and tender. My wife had... More

This is one of my friend's favorite places to eat when she visits Maui. They have a variety of foods on the menu and the interior of the restaurant looks so much better than the exterior. Dont let the exterior stop you from checking this restaurant out. The prices are quite reasonable for what you get.

Food was good, we had the Cornish game hen, Cashew Nut Chicken, Chicken Curry Soup, and Pot Stickers. The Cashew nut had a basil in it that tasted like black licorice and ruined the dish for me, oh and the small Caterpillar that I found in it wasn't that awesome either. The game hen was good and so were the... More
