We came after after exploring the island. It is a little place that if you'll blink you'll miss it. We got the mahi-mahi fish tacos split, which were good, but $13 for two! So it's not too cheap. The girl at the register acted like she hated working in general and spent more time texting on her phone than attending... More

after having seen the sunrise on top of haleakala, we stopped on the way back to lahaina at ma'alaea general store, having a nice cappucchino & espresso. except this store, this seems to be the only (good) store/cafe in ma'alaea ... anyway, since it was perfect, we did not have to search for another cafe. we will definitely come back!

We stayed in condos within walking distance of this little general store. A couple of mornings we stopped and had breakfast before heading out on our daily island excursions. I particuarly liked the dragon fruit parfait. But you can also get a full breakfast, bacon, eggs, etc. and eat it outside on the picnic tables. They also have other grocery... More

After taking an afternoon snorkel trip, we were hungry and stopped here. Altho a bit pricey for a sandwich shop, the food was very good. The mahi-mahi fish tacos were delicious.

We stopped here because Beach Bums next door had stopped serving breakfast. We ordered breakfast burrito, breakfast tacos and an acai bowl. It took a while for the food to come out. The acai bowl came first: it was good with acai and granola, but lacked any fruit. The burrito was good, but the tacos were excellent! It was only... More

This gift shop had everything you could want dealing with whales. There were things not found in other shops. If you like whales, this is the place to go.

Nice people but a little pricey. The Cobb salad rocks. New owners are doing a good job of improving the store.

Dropped in after a 5 hour sea trip to see the turtles. The iced vanilla latte was perfect and the service was friendly. What more can you ask for.

We were staying in the nearby condos and went thinking we could just stock up on easy convenience store items but that is not what this place offers. They had a decent selection of fancy lemonade but would be better positioned as a coffee/smoothie shop and gift store. Saw people eating there too but we didn't try the food.
