No nonsense walk-up counter ordering and paying. They bring your meal when it is ready. Had the Ono fish burger (huge) and mahi mahi fish and chips. Washed it down with a couple Bikini Blondes!

Great place for casual dining & fish dishes. Had lunch there. My hubby had large plate of fish & I had the best fish sandwich. We splurged with a bottle of white wine & total bill came to $30. This was the best deal for the price on the island. Seating is family style and dining area is small so... More

Don't be put off by the rustic appearance. The long lines of people are the clue here... great food in a friendly setting. Its family seating, so get to know whos sitting next to you. We met a couple of locals who gave us great info on Turtle watching spots and other cafes etc. The family had different fish and... More

We used to have a ritual of having lunch at Mama's before our flight home and always enjoyed it. However, on our last two trips we have stopped in Paia to have lunch at the Paia Fish Market instead. The cost is much more reasonable and the seafood is amazing. It's a casual atmosphere. You wait in line to order... More

Had the authentic maui ipa beer and Mahi burger with seafood chouder soup. Service was wonderful staff was great. Great looking dining assistant with awesome hair. Location is close to other shops in the area. Parking can be difficult, I think it was worth it.

Stopped by on a early Wednesday evening and wow! - what a treat! The menu board is a little intimidating, but when I saw the plate lunch go by, I knew that was what I wanted! The staff is really helpful and the girl at the counter guided us through the ordering process. The plate lunch (or dinner) is a... More

We try to go where the locals eat. We were told to go here if we wanted fish for lunch & we were not disappointed. My husband got the Ono burger and I got the Mahi Burger. Both had chunks of cabbage for their version of coleslaw on top of large pieces of our grilled fish with a slice of... More

This Paia restaurant is not large but it is amazing! It is very casual with picnic style tables that seat about 8 people. Families share with other families making it feel very casual, close and homey. There was a bit of a line up on a Sunday night for dinner which took about 15 minutes. The food is simply amazing... Fresh fish and lots of it. The atmosphere is relaxed and with the fresh flower display makes it even more beautiful. The food is tasty and there's plenty so that you are full when you depart. You self order at the counter and within 10 minutes your order is ready! We loved the whole fish artwork tabletops!
