This is a great place to stop in for a casual meal, a cold beer, and friendly service. Though the mai thai I ordered came in a pint glass and reminded me of a drink you'd get at a sports bar (i.e., don't order a mai thai!), the local island duck salad was fantastic. Everything seemed fresh and happy, and... More

I try to be careful when rating restaurants: need to rate according to what they are and what they offer. You won't get fine dining here, but the burgers are very good (especially the duck one). Very casual. A good spot for lunch.

We stopped for breakfast, and really enjoyed the experience. The ambiance feels like old school Hawaii; good food, reasonable price and no big pretense. The facility is clean, open and decorated with local art (for sale). Our server was friendly and attentive. We had the Mambo omelette (with plenty of meat) and the cinnamon French toast (dense and rich); both... More

We had 6 different menu items and all were great. We waited awhile for our meal but we had a party of 6. The drinks were good and anybody could find something they love here. It's a little pricey, but that is Maui.

I didn't want a belly full of curry so me and the SO stopped in here on a whim. We got the fresh catch fish burger and salad...and WOAH! It was cooked by someone who knows how to highlight the flavor of fish! The Market place down the street knows how to hide the fish; but Cafe Mambo is all... More

They said they were pano us for their duck, so guess what we had, Duck. My wife jade the duck salad and I had the duck burger. Both were wonderful. Highly recommended. Best duck on Maui, this is the only duck we have had here but I can't imagine anyone beating them out. I also noticed a special of roasted... More

My husband and I stopped by here when the line for Paia Fish Market was too long, and we were not disappointed. The tables are first come first serve so that is a bit difficult as you feel like you are jockeying for tables and then everyone is looking over you. They have draft beer and a selection of various... More

A funky colorful place. Lots of art on the walls (for sale) makes it interesting. Food was ok, nothing special. Service ok. My grandson ordered a root beer, a 12 oz. can was $4.50, granddaughter ordered a smoothie $6.50. I know Maui is expensive but...

This small open air cafe offers a variety of choices including burgers, coffee drinks, local beer and more. We stopped in here after shopping at the many cool artsy stores in the area. It is a bit off the beaten path by a block or so. I had a coffee drink, which was good. The local art on display was... More

We stopped in for lunch while wandering around Paia. I had the burger special with smoked gouda and bacon, was tasty and huge. My husband had the duck salad and was really impressed with his choice as well.
