Good lunch

What a peaceful cafe we ate lunch here during our vacation. The vibrant colors and open air make for an amazing experience. We had the organic steak sandwich which was amazingly tender and tasty.

My wife and I had breakfast at Cafe Mambo's on the way to Hana. The place was busy, but we were able to find a seat. There menu is a little different. My wife had the Loco Moco, and I had an egg omelet. The food and the service was good. I would eat there again if in the area.

Very local, surfy feel to this little spot- fresh open window seating allows you to watch and feel the vibe on the street. Refreshing drinks and unique (duck burgers and fajitas), yummy food makes for great lunch spot. Free, local parking couple blocks behind restaurant and affordable, organic whole foods market right across the street. My husband sat in window... More

average diner with limited food selection and so/so quality . We had breakfast there and were quite disappointed with our dishes . Had a chance to look into the kitchen while walking by and it didn't look very clean, wouldn't go back !

Lots of interesting dishes to try. It tends towards health foody, but everything we had there was flavorful and satisfying.

I ordered a burger medium rare. It came out well done and tasted like a hockey puck. My husband order the loco moco which has 2 burgers and they were well done and tasteless too. He ordered his medium rare as well. We left and had to go get lunch at another local restaurant.

Stopped in for lunch at cafe mambo and had a good experience. Fits right in with the cute little town of Paia. Relaxed, open air atmosphere. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We ordered the shrimp dish and the nachos which were both very good. Had a good happy hour drink menu as well. The manager checked to see... More

Several years ago, we found Café Mambo in Paia for Breakfast after the early day going to Haleakala. Excellent. Since then, we go there every time we are in Maui, which is at least once a year. We like Café Mambo so much, we go from the airport to Cafe Mambo before we do anything else.

Service seemed a wee bit reluctant. Maybe because we were about the only ones there. Food is good, portions big enough to share. Can't say it was amazing.

Went here as part of local tastes of Maui tour. Fantastic duck quesadilla. Not to be missed! We enjoyed our time her and would go back.
