My husband and I stopped by around 9:15am for donuts on a stick - and off! We enjoyed both options of tasty treats. We also bought a bag of rolls. They were just okay, and seemed to become sticky and gooey after a day or two. We arrived early enough, so plenty to choose from at this bakery. I found... More

My family and I have been to this bakery over the years. Hands down, the best! You gotta go early because the pastries go quick.

A must visit. Love love love the donut on the stick and dinner roll. Get there early because the line goes out the door. I hear their pies and other donuts are good too. I wouldn't know, only hate the donut sticks and rolls (4 times in my 10 day stay)

We finally made it to T. Komodo Store & Bakery, a little skeptical of all of the glowing reviews. How good can do-nuts be? The baked goods are truly excellent. We arrived at 8:00 AM to a quickly-moving line. We ordered stick do-nuts and coconut turnovers. Wow! ...And the ladies behind the counter are very nice.

Anyone who travels to Maui MUST TRY Komoda Bakery! They specialize in old time tested pastries from their "secret" recipes, which have been handed down through the generations. The locals KNOW this is THE finest bakery on Maui, and will travel upcountry for these delicacies.

Definitely go super early. We arrived around 9:30am and more than half their desserts were gone already. People were buying malasadas in boxes and I think those were just the locals. Guava ones were delicious and their fresh baked shortbread cookies were just as good. Make sure to stop here, but don't bother going in the afternoon.

Everything is great!!! Best malasadas (which are best fresh and warm) and cream puffs. Get there early though or you won't get.

They make the best butter rolls and donuts on the stick... they make other good desserts like cream puffs, cookies, long johns, pies

I love malasadas. Komoda Bakery has great ones. But a word of warning...get there early. Supplies are very limited. If you get there in the afternoon they will very likely be out or have a very limited selection. Wish they would produce these popular treats throughout the day. They are definitely better the fresher they are.
