We always stop here when we visit what we call 'Cowboy Town'. There are a lot of other shops and restaurants to browse in the area, but our stop isn't complete till we stop in here. They have a lot of snack foods and baked goods for sale and it's just a neat little general store. Stop in!

Excellent bakery. Feels old school in regards to the building. Makes you think of what it was like in the 50's and 60's. Very reasonably priced. Sells out early, come before 10ish

We made our way up country and were told we had to stop. We are so glad we did. We got the stick doughnuts and they were crazy delicious. The only problem was that we did not get there early enough to get some of the more exotic items. We cannot wait to return. The good news is we bought... More

A must stop on your trip. Whether you are busy with work or visiting. This is a step back into time and quality baking never goes out of style. Get there early so you won't be disappointed if they run out. Some days they close, some days they open, it is just a blessing when you can experience Heaven on... More

I'm always on the lookout for good bakeries selling great pastry. I have my favorites on Oahu. I have yet to find even a halfway decent one on the Big Island. My siblings and the reviewers at Trip Advisor all rave about Komoda's. So I ditched an early morning beach snorkel and drove upcountry to try some pastries. It wasn't... More

This is the bakery to visit on a Saturday morning. We stopped by as the hurricane swept past the Hawaiian Islands and that did not stop dozens of locals from buying out the dinner rolls and breads within two hours. We sampled the doughnut on a stick and the cream puffs and both were excellent. I'm lucyk in one respect,... More

The baked goods in this old legendary bakery are absolutely wonderful. The guava malasadas are amazing. Prices are a tad high if compared to the mainland - but really you are in Hawaii. Do yourself a favor - throw the diet aside and have something sweet and gooey!

Go here. Get a doughnut. Enjoy! They are fresh and delicious and this place deserves a stop. It's not fancy and you'd really not go in here but listen to everyone. Everyone says go here for a doughnut on a stick!

This place is legendary. The same family has been operating and cooking up the same doughnuts for decades! Doesn't matter what day of week or the time of year, there is always a line out the door within the first hour of opening. Make it a must stop on your list. Closed Wed/Sun.
