We had a friend recommend we stop here --- and it was a great decision. All the baked goods were tasty...too tasty since I ate way too much of what they sell. I'd recommend a stop here for an excellent snack.

Small bakery and grocery store in the quaint town of Makawoa. The store/bakery opens at 7:00 a.m. and its best to get there early or the baked goods will sell out quickly. We tried a variety of donuts and cream puffs including the donut on...More

This quaint store had a mix of everything in it, the bakery was very busy we decided on donuts on a stick. There were several different kinds to choose from. We had two options and all enjoyed them.

We found this old-timey general store so fascinating! Don't go expecting a generic Panera/Starbucks/Dunkin experience...it's not a...More

Cheese puffs with cream cheese filling, doughnuts and guava filled pastries just to name a few. Makawao is worth the visit when traveling to Haleakala summit.
