Ate here after a recommendation from the gallery up the street. I would have missed it otherwise. Kathi was very attentive and the food, wow. I had the curry chicken salad....probably top 5 things I've ever eaten. It was amazing and I had to slow myself down so I didn't just inhale it. So glad I stopped in here, I... More

What a delightful little cafe in a charming little town. The server was happy and friendly. The food is cooked to order ( psssst, don't be in a rush. Sit back and enjoy). The atmosphere is charming set on cobblestones in across the street from Komoda Store and bakery (yum! Donuts on a stick). Tables with umbrellas amidst art galleries... More

This cafe is a great spot to stop for lunch. The enchanting garden atmosphere, with nearly always perfect weather, is restful and cozy. You will find a delicious menu of local fish sandwiches, locally grown organic salad greens, and nice desserts. Try a refreshing tea or a local coffee.

Outdoor seating and owner run and operated. Love the curry salad. So fresh and yummy. Many options to choose for everyone.

My wife and I ate lunch here after driving to Haleakala. Found it partly through TA reviews and partly because they advertise "Rest Rooms" on a sign outside. The Thai Coconut Vegetable Soup was fabulous - would have raved about it at a much fancier place. Big veggies in a delicious Thai coconut curry broth. Get it! We both ordered... More

Spouse and I had lunch here, he had lemon vegetable soup and a curry chicken salad, and I had a garden salad with mahi mahi. All of our food was excellent. His curry chicken salad had some kind of mango curry dressing prompting us to ask the server if we could buy some (they don't sell it). The soup was... More

We enjoyed the combination of Waffles & Eggs Benedict (normally separate orders) in the beautiful & quiet courtyard. The staff was friendly and provided great service. We went back again!

We were visiting Makawao on our last day in Maui and stumbled upon this cafe. It was easy to get a table at the time we arrived however by the time we were leaving, all tables were full. After eating here, it was not hard to see why. The food was fresh, delicious, and the service was genuinely amazing. My... More

We were visiting Haelekala crater and decided to stop by Makawo historic town on our way back. We found the cafe almost by accident. The atmosphere is casual and family friendly. We ordered the soup, Tomato salad (amazing) and the Tuna melt (wonderful) and shared among 3 adults. Kids had pasta with fish. This was one of the best meals... More
