Had lunch by the pier. Prompt service, good food and reasonable prices. Clam chowder, pull pork sliders, and a salad with mangos - all good! Lots of choices. Would recommend to all.

Stopped in for lunch-just happened to be the closest place to where we were and we were hungry. The pork sliders were soooo good and large portions!

We decided to try the Pioneer in for lunch, hadn’t been in there in years. Not much had changed. The lunch was fine, clam chowder and coconut shrimp. Very good and satisfying. The waiter was very considerate and good.

Located inside the Pioneer Inn ( Hotel ) And very close to parking in the rear of the building. Excellent food served by friendly and helpful employee. Love the old building that houses this exceptional restaurant. Across from The Banyan Tree!

Every time we come to Maui, we have breakfast at the Pioneer Grill. They have a great breakfast and sit next to the windows facing the ocean. Smell the ocean breeze and enjoy a wonderful breakfast. Eggs, pineapples and Guava juice. Does it get better!!

We used a 15% off coupon we got since staying in the hotel so that was nice. We had pancakes and bacon and the bacon was nice and cooked, not fatty. The pancakes are actually somewhat rubbery and not the best. I would probably recommend...More

Dropped in for dinner one evening when the place was quiet. Had our choice of tables and nothing much going on. That said, the food was good and it was nice to have a quiet dinner right on the ocean front. Not expensive either. Worth...More

The weather in February and March is close to perfect -- shorts and sandals. It is our favorite time to visit primarily for the humpback whales.

For lunch and dinner we offer the freshest fish, Maui grown burgers and steaks and a full range of small plates including hearts of Romaine caesar salad, seared ahi and kahlua pig sliders. The historic whalers saloon is the perfect place to watch the fishing boats come in with their catch while enjoying one of our Mai tais or another tropical favorite. We offer local draft beer and know that you will find our resident African gray parrot entertaining.
