Stopped by for an after dinner treat. Delightful! Young men working there were personable and helpful. Just wish my waist line would let let stop by more often

We were walking down Front street in Lahaina and wanted to get a treat so we popped in to get some ice cream. Our girls (5 & 7) wanted Vanilla ice cream + a Chocolate Chip cookie. I was going to get a milkshake, but...once I saw the cute presentation (with the eyes), I decided to get the ice cream and a cookie but I got the Banana Macadamia Nut ice cream. I am glad I did because the ice cream by itself was some of the best ice cream that I have had. It was very rich and creamy and had great banana flavor and the cookie was nice and soft just the way I like it. The girls loved theirs also and it was a perfect treat on a warm day as we sat and ate it under the Banyan tree. The guy who was working there was very nice and courteous. I highly recommend making a stop here.More

Thank you so very much for taking time to write this nice review, Fred L. So happy you and your girls enjoyed the ice cream and cookies! Roselani has been making the ice cream here on Maui for over 88 years. They know what they're...More

During our week long stay in Maui, we stopped here 3 times. I had banana Mac nut toffee ice cream, mint chocolate chip and pineapple coconut. Each time I got the Mo’o, or mini Mo’o, which is a scoop of ice cream and a cookie...of your choice. The cookies are just as good as the ice cream. I had the chocolate coconut cookie, choc chip Mac nut and finally, the Hawaiian kiss (so good). Highly recommend this place for a sweet, cool treat.More

OK, before I state my review, I think I got my Dolewhip from their overflow location across the street. On a hot day there are very few things that are as refreshing as a dolewhip cone. The pineapple flavor in the cold creamy soft serve...is just spectacular. Fast, efficient, a bit pricey (but that is the going rate for DoleWhip) but just what was needed on the hot day.More

Yes, psudino, you must have gotten your Dolewhip across the street. We don't sell it, mainly because it doesn't have any pineapple in it. We sell only Roselani ice cream. If you haven't tried it yet, you should! It's only made on Maui and has...More

We live in Kihei and enjoy Lahaina every chance we get! Last evening we went to walk around Banyan Tree and Front Street. Stopped at BanyanTreats for ice cream. Love their COVID-19 proper setup. The gentleman who served us was very friendly and helpful, offering...Kama’aina discount and punchcard. We took our treats and walked away to sit down and enjoying them; he came over with a dish of cold fresh water for our dog! We noticed he did the same for some other people and their dog as well. So long, Lamberts! BanyanTreats is our new place because of how well we all were treated by this gentleman. Mahalo NYU!More

I've tried several ice cream shops on Maui, but Banyan Treats is by far the best. Try their coconut. Great service and great price. You can also start a punch card toward earning a free cone.
