My wife and I ate here 11 years ago on our honeymoon and we made sure to come back this time with the kids. A lot has changed the food was still great but much fancier and more expensive.

Aloha Mixed Plate recently completed a renovation and they did an amazing job! The menu has also been updated. We ate breakfast and lunch here. Both were good and I would definitely recommend breakfast. Great food and service with beautiful views!

Aloha mixed grill has had a facelift. New tables, chairs and real plates rather than paper. The food is still amazing. Great prices, waterfront seating available.

We had drinks and appetizers here at the beginning of our Maui trip and everything was perfect- the food, the drinks, the service, the whale frolicking just offshore, the Hawaiian music next door. We came back for breakfast, and it was wonderful as well. Get...More

When I was there, I had to ask for the coconut syrup. Then they brought me both the coconut and guava syrups.

Sorry, but we only went there for late lunch or dinner, so I could not tell you, what time they would be open for Breakfast.

In the early days of the sugar plantations, lunch was a simple affair. Plantation workers gathered in the fields for their mid-day meal. The Japanese laborers would bring teriyaki beef with rice and pickled vegetables. Seated next to them might be their Filipino neighbors with the traditional dish adobo or perhaps a pork or chicken stew. The Koreans had their kalbi or marinated ribs and the Chinese a rice noodle and vegetable dish called chow fun. Hawaiians were known for their kalua pig, roasted in an underground oven called an imu. It wasn't long before they began to share their foods with one another and the "mixed plate" was born. Aloha Mixed Plate features true "Local" traditional plate lunches with open air seating directly on the ccean. We are open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
