I gave it away in my title but I really don't want you to go. They're doing well so I don't think I'm hurting revenues but stay away. I would hate to have the place get overcrowded. They were expanding at our last visit. I'm sure its even better as the previous shop had enough character to go around. Great... More

We ate here the first night in Maui. They had breakfast even during dinner time. Some ate breakfast others ate italian, or fish. The ambiance was a bit odd. They had a really friendly dog there that my kids loved. The waitress was very pleasant. They had drinks and they were reasonable. They had live entertainment that was good. It... More

Nothing special. Shaved ice, high priced. No seating. Crowded. And get an incoherent somewhat offensive diatribe about politics from the owner.

This place is wild! We read a review that is is "eclectic" and that is for sure! We liked it so much we went back a second time before getting in the plane to leave. Amazing fast moving staff had coffee in front of us in an instant. Our simple food order of "the early bird special" was promptly cooked... More

It became very clear after being seated what the owner's political leanings are (Libertarian) although a lot of the other mix-and-match items hung up and nailed to the wall were actually pretty fun to discover. Unfortunately, for those hoping that the name Java Jazz might mean something about the type of music played, the music was a mix of 90's... More

The owner is a riot and we go here every time in Maui. Shaved ice is awesome especially with condensed milk on it !! Really nice people and a great treat !

This was once one of our favorite places to hang out after a long flight. It's extremely casual (funky). It has surprisingly good food but the atmosphere has gone down hill a bit and the prices are a little too high. Music not so good anymore.

We were too early to check in to our condo and the kids were hungry and tired. This was the first place we found. It was early in our trip and we didn't go back, which means nothing more than none of us were overly impressed but we don't have any specific complaints. There were maybe only 4 other people... Lots of independent coffee shops in West Maui, but Java Jazz is a place with character and an owner who truly cares. Coffee is rich. You can actually get a full breakfast for $7. They are open for all 3 meals, and it looks to be a rocking bar at night.

This is an interesting place to stop and have coffee. The server was super nice and our breakfast was yummy. Really enjoyed my latte. Has a very eclectic style inside.
