I was nervous about the look and atmosphere. And pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service. The prices and choices on the menu were reasonable and it is a spot where kids will fit in. The outside dining is a stretch. It is crowed and on a parking lot view. Inside is a much better choice.

If you want a unique Maui shave ice (and not a snow cone), Java Jazz is exceptional . . . ice ground very fine, packed, great flavor selection, quality syrups, not too sweet. And cheerful service!

Funky and quirky place in a strip mall.... Not at all what you would expect from the outside! Lots of fun original artwork and kitchy things to look at. Food and service were outstanding and the prices were very reasonable. Great option if the breaky place on the corner (Slappy Cakes) has a long wait.....

We found this place by accident 2years ago and had to come back. This place is a hidden treasure. Very affordable. Love the Ahi salad and fish and chips. And the blues and jazz music is fine. The walls are decorated with crazy rock music themes, and crazy artwork.

We come here every time we visit Maui. Service is quick and food is great. The Huevos is the best. Flavor is spot on and the tortillas stay crunchy to the last bite!

We arrived at our Maui hotel tired, hungry and without a car. We decided to walk to the strip mall grocery across the street & settle into our room. As we crossed the street, Java Jazz caught our attention. Cautiously, we walked in and were greeted by friendly staff and overwhelming decor. After wandering around, enjoying the multimedia array of... More

We were just walking by and the inside decoration of this place caught my eyes. There are dim light with very dark decoration. We decided to get in and have some java and dessert. The walls are covered with polaroid pictures all over. There is a flat TV which displays funny and some strong political views of the owner. He... More

I have had breakfast here 20 times. It's always good. Dinner a couple times too. A good varying selection. Gluten free available. The coffee is nice and dark. Prices are typical of Hawaii. It does get busy during peak dining. Enjoy

Skip out on hotel coffee and walk over for a latte in the morning. This is a funky little local place which offers something for everyone, coffee, smoothies, food. I loved this place!

Amazed that this spot was as quiet as it was for such a busy resort area and such a nice shop. Lots of goodies to buy for gifts and a good selection of food items as well. We just had our morning java which was fresh Maui coffee
