We were given a free dinner for 2 because were returning to the Kaanapali Beach Hotel for the second time. We arrived just as they were opening and had to wait a few minutes while they finished setting up. It was a beautiful night with a nice breeze and we were seated and quickly waited on and ordered our meal... More

I love the Ka'anapali Beach Hotel. It's not the most luxurious hotel, but the employees are wonderful, the grounds are nice, and they offer many free things, such as lei making, ukulele lessons, nature walks, nightly hula show, etc. If there's one area that's needed improvement, it's the Tiki Terrace Restaurant. On my most recent trip, the meal was above... More

Ok, it's 630. Music has started at the outdoor theatre at Ka'anapali Beach Hotel -- 3 musicians with 3 hula dancers. (This is a free perk at the KBH). We were sitting in the free seats. We decided to look at the Tiki Terrace menu (even better seats just behind us) and they sat us on the edge of the... More

Everything here pretty much costs the same from pasta Arrabiata to New York steak. Plan on about $25 a person minimum. Food is okay, not great. But, it's nice to eat at the hotel and not have to drive. And the entertainment is fun. We really enjoyed that. You can get drinks from the bar--also pricey and light on the... More

The Tiki Terrace Restaurant was not very good. We were given a 20% off voucher for diner. We used it, but diner was still expensive and less than memorable. We did not go back for the rest of our stay at the Kaanapali Beach Hotel.

The breakfast buffet was included in our room rate and on the second day we ate off site. Buffets are ricky because food has to be kept at just the right temperature to not pass on food borne illnesses. This breakfast literally made me sick. You could tell by some of the ill fitting lids and not very hot or... More

Great choice for excellent food and good prices! Entertainment every night. The pink snapper was fantastic and every bit as good as the very expensive restaurants in Whaler's Village or Lahaina.

We were at the hotel for five nights so we experienced the same buffet each day. Limited variety in boxed cereals, oatmeal very runny, same fruit each day, pancakes often were tough and cold.

We had two wonderful dinners at Tiki Terrace while in Maui. It was so great the first night, we went back our last night. The fresh Onaga (red snapper - hard to find) was delicious and perfectly prepared. The menu has very traditional Hawaiian dishes that you can't find everywhere. The food is so fresh! And, the prices are terrific!... More
