This is by far the best teppanyaki experience we have had anywhere. The staff and chef's are very entertaining and competent. The food is delicious and the quantities will fill anyone. The steaks are prepared and seasoned as you like and the lobster and scallops are great. We go here 2-3 times during our 3 weeks in Kaanapali every year.... More

We always dine here on our first night back to the Sheraton, and we request Jaymar every time. We always enjoy the food and the conversation with Jaymar. SPG members get 20% off.

Good food. More expensive than typical of this style (Vs Other hibachi style Japanese). However, the food was better - fried rice great, fish great, desserts good. Service average. Took awhile to get our first drink.

The food was excellent, extremely tasting and not shy on the portions. The chief was a good lad who was knowledgeable and very friendly, plus he could cook which is a bonus. Like everything else in the Shearaton be prepared to pay a lot of money but for once this was worth it.

If your thinking about eating here, don't waste your money. My wife and I just finished a very disappointing experience. This restaurant is reservation only so why did I wait 55 minutes from the time I was seated to the time the cook showed up to start cooking? On numerous occasions I considered helping myself to more water as I... More

Be prepared to pay a good amount for your food, but its worth it. If you are hungry though, there are only 2 chefs on duity at any time so each table has to wait till the other has been cooked for. Its a lot of fun when you are only one or two people because they will seat you... More

My husband and I are staying at the Sheraton, and decided to try out this restaurant. It is a small restaurant, so reservations are highly recommended. The sauces were delicious, and the lobster was amazing. The chef was great, and the staff was friendly and attentive. We will be be back again. :)

While the food that we ate at Teppan Yaki was okay, there was a surprising lack of flare to a restaurant who's theme is "where showmanship meets the plate." Additionally, Teppan was on the pricey side for sure; I have quite literally had food that I would say is twice as good here in Calgary at a similar Japanese style... More

Ate at Teppan-Yaki Dan and thoroughly enjoyed the dinner. Very similar to Benihani's. Chef was entertaining and the food was excellent. Would definitely recommend eating here.
