Right on the water and in the heart of historic Lahaina, Kimo’s brings you and your o’hana (Hawaiian for family) a casual, completely Maui dining experience. Renowned our “postcard” views of Lanai and Molokai, we offer a menu featuring fresh Hawaiian fish, prime rib, prime steaks and the original Hula Pie, Kimo’s has been a Maui must-do for over 30 years. The upstairs main dining room shows the architectural influence of New England on the former whaling port, with koa-lined walls, missionary-style furnishings and maritime memorabilia. After dinner, Kimo’s lanai becomes a very cool hotspot for tropical cocktails and Hawaiian music. Live entertainment is offered on weekends and select week nights.

Good prime rib and seafood

Took a chance on getting in. Service was excellent with a nice view. Food was terrific. The house special which is the Hulla Pie was an indulgence. A bit on the pricey side but worth it.

The view and location are as good as it gets in Maui . We've been going to Kimo's for 20+ years and the quality of food just doesn't seem to be the same . While waiting at the bar for another couple I ask for a Kimo's chardonnay ( I recalled it being very good) ~~ the bartender said we... More

Kimo's provides a friendly break from the busy crowds of visitors in downtown Lahaina. Staff is responsive and friendly. Of course, being friendly is Hawaii seems to be a natural state of mind. We enjoyed what one might consider a brunch. With travel time changes that one experiences on a trip from the mainland, who cares what meal you are... More

We enjoyed an early dinner before our show to see Burn'n Love. Server was great and informative. He worked to assure one persons food allergy was properly addressed, his name is Ryan. Good cocktails, and adequate selection of wine for a beach side restaurant. Fresh fish dishes were very tasty and served to perfection. It was nice to see local... More

I read good reviews for this restaurant, but it doesn't deserve more than 3 stars. Half of the menu (literally) was alcohol. If you're looking to get wasted & don't care about the taste of your food, this is the place for you.

Awesome lunch here and the view is nice....relaxed atmosphere and food was above average for me albeith a huge salad with goats cheese and a grilled skewer or zucchini and veges - extremely tasty and yummy!!! Loved it - parents had fish n chips - too oily unfortunately and fish looked great but no taste sadly, mom had some bread... More

We stopped at Kimo's for lunch. Nice location in the heart of front street. Good meal choices for everyone but we were tucked away at the back of the lanai missing out on the ocean view. I'd certainly ask to move if we were to dine again. Everyone enjoyed their meals though and service was good.

Just like everything in Maui, Kimo's is beautiful. The view for dinner is spectacular and the downstairs bar is very nice and tropical. The unfortunate thing is that their food and cocktails don't live up to the view. The food was average and the portion size was pathetic while the price was anything but small. We stayed in Maui for... More

Sat in the bar area which was perfect for watching the sunset and having a cocktail and appetizer. They have a happy hour so you can take drink and appetizer specials.

Four of us went to Kimo's to see two great musicians working together, JT and Harry Troup. They were great and the food and happy hour were spectacular. You are sitting right above and beside the ocean. Make sure to get to Happy hour a bit early (before 3:00) because it fills up quickly and you want a great seat.... More
