Just because The Bakery Lahaina isn’t on Front Street don’t miss it! We loved this place. The blueberry muffin had lemon in it and wasn’t overly sweet. Delicious! The coconut danish dough was like eating puff pastry. The bread pudding was great!! This place is only a block and a half off the highway! Don’t miss it on your trip through Lahaina! The lady who served us was really sweet. They donate any baked goods not purchased by the end of the day to the Salvation Army. This is just a great place!

We had a lunch/whale watching tour booked so we wanted a light breakfast. My husband found The Bakery. It's not in a fancy area (surrounded by car repair shop type places) and parking was a bit of a pain but we found street parking nearby. When we first walked in I was a little disappointed that there were no tables inside. Once we saw the pastries - OMG! we were completely blown away by the quality and huge selection. The staff there is so friendly, and were told there were picnic tables outside. We sat outside at a table with an older gentleman. He was funny and nice and told us that he and his wife started The Bakery about 40 years ago. He told us lots of stories about getting started. As the neighborhood got older and parking got more difficult, they started selling more to stores/shops/restaurants that resold it. They make over 1k of doughnuts every night. So, you can go someplace fancy and pay a lot for these or you can go to the source where the prices are surprisingly inexpensive. The entire experience was awesome. We live on Oahu and I wish we could get his pastries here. Try this place, you may get luck and get to visit with the owner outside.

Wow, the first time we went we bought an assortment of bakery goods and everything was great. My favorite was the oatmeal scones and my bride tried one and it's her favorite as well. Make sure you get there early as its an island favorite.

The new owners have done a great job. The croissants are made in the classic French method and are exquisite. I also love the eclairs and cream puffs especially. The flax seed bread is another of my favorites. They sell out fast so I would recommend calling in an order the day prior to insure your choices are available.

Really delicious even if the selection seems a bit limited due to staffing. Went on Saturday and bought an order then we ate it outside and so delicious we went back and bought more. Went on Tuesday at 11 and mostly sold out so you know this place is legit for locals.

This used to be our "go to" place for malasadas when we're on Maui, but we were really disappointed this last trip. Got there about 9:00 and got the last three malasadas for the day. Took them back to the condo to have with coffee. These were small, heavy, somewhat oily, and had a bit of a salty taste. Not as good as we remembered and not nearly as good as malasadas from other places on Maui.

This is off the beaten path, near Moana glass blowing. Parking is messy, although if you’re there at the right time, it’s fine. The breads are delicious and the donuts! If you are up early, drop by for your family’s breakfast, they will appreciate it!

Great little bakery off the main road. The bread rolls were incredible. I also had the cinnamon roll and the pineapple upside down cake, both of which were good, but didn't blow me away as much as the bread. i would have eaten a dozen of those!

I've been looking forward to The Bakery on every visit to Maui for more than a decade. On our recent visit, we stopped twice because I love it that much! They have new ownership and an updated logo, but the same amazing pastries, yeast breads, and other specialties. It is *not* in a manicured tourist-centered area -- you'll go down a little side street next to some light industrial spaces. You have to pay with cash. I don't think there are signs on anything, so you have to just ask! They're friendly and will explain. The shop itself is clean but it's a working environment primarily -- not a chic/modern design. And, it doesn't need to be. You don't go here to be amazed by the style of the building. You go here for YUMMINESS! The sticky buns are gorgeous, the croissants (chocolate or almond) are made with great technique, the baguettes are just the right balance of texture, etc. I know enough about baking to know they are doing it right. You can likely get a full box of pastries and a baguette for under $20. Two tips: go early, take your box to eat at a picnic breakfast at the beachside park just north of Lahaina.

A little hard to find but when your on a mission, nothing is too hard to find. A shop owner in downtown Lahaina told us about this place so we had to try it. Everything was delicious. I wanted to try one of everything and we almost did. We were staying here in Lahaina on a family vacation and there were ten of us so we got plenty. Our teenage grandsons wanted to eat them all but we all manage to get our share. Good bakery and lots to choose from. Give it a try.

We ordered a cake for our daughter's birthday. The cake was so good. Chocolate cake with vanilla cream and strawberries. It was a 10" cake, and it fed the 7 of us very well! We also tried the oat and walnut scones, blueberry muffins, strudel, shortbread cookies, and cream filled pastry. We went back two more times for the scones.

This bakery fills orders for a majority of shops around town. Limited parking. Cash only. Got there at 545-6am and no issues with parking. Went twice. The orange glazed donuts are surprising and fantastic

3 out of 6 of my travel companions were gluten free so this bakery was a wonderful find. But also the other breads and pastries were just as good!!
