Fantastic fixed menu for New Year's including Kona lobster, oyster sliders and filet mignon enjoyed by our family including adult children at the late seating. Everything arrived hot, well timed and not rushed. Orlando and the wait staff took great care of us.

I went for dinner but the hotel (Sheraton) had one restaurant under renovation and a long line to get into the steak house. The wine list is surprisingly limited for a restaurant aspiring for this caliber ... or maybe it was poor staff. The staff refused to honor the SPG discount.

During happy hour the drinks are priced more realistically than other times. We had the Club Sandwich and it was terrible this is the first Club that ive ever had that was bad. How do you screw up a Club Sandwich?

The food was fine, as was the service. They did not have the menu item I ordered. Likewise, the bar did not have the cocktail I ordered. Otherwise, descent food. Not the best I have had in Maui, but convenient, especially on a day when we were not wanting to head out again.

Had a late dinner - we were tired but not terribly hungry. We split the chef's special which was a salad, filet mignon and shrimp, and sorbet for dessert. It was the perfect size meal, and no one made us feel cheap for splitting it. The setting was great - out under the stars with torches burning. Very memorable!

The service was indifferent. It was very quiet this particular evening, may be the reason The steak was not cooked as requested. The timing very slow. Very ordinary experience for my first and only night in this restaurant. For breakfast one day there was a twenty minute wait for a table and then the bacon almost inedible. The local birds... More

The restaurant is now called Black Rock Kitchen. If you have a good table, you'll be able to enjoy outdoor seating with garden or pool views. Excellent fish and the best martinis on the island.

The setting is outdoors and near the beach. The food is very average. The steak had a lot of fat and the green salad was mostly lettuce. The service was poor here. The server was very irritable with little patience as he rushed me to order my food. The desert was very good. The server also recommended a veer yeasty... More

We never spend a ton of money to go out, but being our honeymoon decided to try out the Black Rock. It is pricey (bill was $100 for the two of us though we also got dessert), but the food was delicious and offers a great romantic view. We received 20% off for being guests at the Sheraton as well.

We stayed at the Sheraton Resort so why not try the restaurant. Extremely expensive and food is just okay. I would say give it a shot if you don’t want to go far. However right around the corner near whaler’s village is a restaurant called hula grill = delicious!
