Didn't even get seated.
The service by the front staff was so poor we ended up leaving - don't blame the staff, they are obviously poorly trained by management with little or poor service skills.
Go to the Hula Grill instead.
Definitely make it in for the Happy Hour. I went with my other half and we liked this place so much we went back a second time during our stay in Kaanapali. Sammy (our server, I think there is another Sammy who is a bartender)...More
We had dinner here tonight and we had the fillet steak special and a pizza. We were told the orders come from different kitchens so won’t be together but our daughter had finished before our steak arrived. The food was all nice but the steak...More
My husband and I came here for dinner while in Maui. The food and cocktails were excellent. We actually came back the next night to have dessert and try their "famous" mai tai--voted best in the island--which was indeed the best mai tai I had...More
This restaurant location has been turned over many times in the past few years but there is finally a successful and excellent alternative to Lelanis and Hula Grill.

We ate at the Monkey Pod Kitchen in Kaanapali twice in January, and found it to be a wonderful experience. The gluten free option are limited, but the staff was very accommodating, so I would anticipate that you would not be disappointed. Our dinner there was the best meal we had during our week on the island, and we at out lunch and dinner every day, at many establishments. The Monkey Pod Kitchen is not on par with Mama's Fish House in Paia (very few restaurants are), but it's very good and one of the better options in Kaanapali. Our daughter has to be careful with her food choices, and she had no issues with either of our meals at the Monkey Pod Kitchen. We look forward to going back.
