We were ignored and others who came in after us were served before us. We were very polite. My 8 year daughter asked very nicely what kind of tea do you have? The only... More

We stopped briefly for a coffee and some delicious banana cake. They were also serving breakfast which looked really good. It's so cute inside and all the cakes look divine.. Definitely worth a stop if passing.

We stumbled into Grandma's for breakfast after the arduous trek to enjoy the sunrise at Haleakala's summit. We were welcomed into a quaint and warm rustic building by the aroma of bacon and eggs. We beat the rush by moments...there is another breakfast place near by but it is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays...so, if you want a table inside,... More

The coffee here is horrible. I'm not sure how this place can call itself a coffee house. The omelets were good and large, after we finally got them. We arrived a few minutes before the place opened and there was already a line of people that were going up the road to Hana. After ordering we went out on the... More

This is the place that the locals hang out and eat, drink, socialize and catch up. This is the place where the staff know your name and call out greetings when you come in the door. This is the place where you come to get the richest best taking food on the island away from the tourists and the crowds.... More

Went to a get together and the tiramisu that was served was from Grandma's. Who knew you could get such great tiramisu on the islands? It was amazing. Would love to come by and try some of the other tasty treats.

Perfect place for breakfast after Haleakala sunrise ! I had a chai latte and deluxe oatmeal with fruit and nuts. my fiance had the traditional eggs and bacon breakfast and we enjoyed them ! Service is friendly. Downside is no bathrooms. They were out of cinnamon rolls /hadn't made any yet and I was hoping to try them ! Maybe... More

We stopped here after doing the sunrise. We had the coffee and some pastries, really good. They have full breakfasts too, but we didn't want to eat that much. Very friendly service, great stop when you're tired.
