A lovely rustic restaurant to visit before or after activities on the Haleakala crater. Our server was wonderful and the food was very good. The four of us had the burger, veggie burger, marguerita pizza and the fish tacos. All were substantial and delicious and the view was beautiful!

Stopped here after a trip to the volcano. Over baked pizzas were the best we have ever had. The views from the outside terrace were fantastic. Don't miss this place

We visit each time we visit Maui. Beat the lunch rush if possible. On this visit we ate: Blue Cheese Burger, Spinach Salad and Wood Fired Barbecue Chicken Pizza. Mashed potatoes were not great on this visit. Check out the observation deck before you leave. Great views for pictures. Also on your way out, you MUST visit Curtis Wilson Cost... More

The Kula Lodge is a fantastic place for a family meal, it has a beautiful garden, amazing art gallery and some cute little shops all on site! Our family thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service was fast and friendly. Luckily we were also given a table next to the window, so we could look over Maui and we could... More

After driving to the summit of Haleakala, we stopped for dinner and a beautiful sunset on the way down. What a perfect call! We arrived right at sunset. We got a table at the window a bit of center, but it didn't matter. I immediately started taking pictures. The waiter understood photography was part of the experience and just let... More

I had read that others stopped here for brunch/breakfast after Haleakala at sunrise and it was on elf the best recommendations that we found. The pancakes with coconut syrup ruined us - as it was so good that everywhere else that we tried never quite lived up to Kula Lodge's great pancakes. Our server was very nice and helpful as... More

We took a visiting friend for breakfast and everything was great. The silver dollar pancakes were a bargain and more than I could eat. My friend had kim chee fried rice which she said was delicious. My husband had the sunrise special , which was well cooked and more than ample. Service was prompt, efficient, friendly, courteous. Everything was hot... More

We had planned a return trip to this wonderfully situated place to have lunch with the best views at 4000 feet elevation. After the 92 F heat of Kahalui this was a very comfortable 75F. We had expected to eat in lower area of the restaurant under individual stone covered tables but no. A staff shortage had not only shut... More

Years ago, this restaurant's food was superb, BUT not any longer! We came to Maui recently to visit the Lodge once again. Boy were we hit with a bombshell!!!!! The view is still gorgeous and stunning, but the food tastes like a bunch of amateurs created it. Frankly speaking, it's crap, as well it's over priced. Management better get a... More
