This is a beautiful place. They have lots of flowers to see. Shops and a restaurant. A nice place to stop off on your way up to the crater

I've been to the lodge many times but never eaten there before. I ordered the Kalua Pork Sliders and they were awesome! The service was very attentive and the view was spectacular! I would highly recommend it for anyone wanting some great view with a world class view of the island of Maui from Upcountry.

The views are unbeatable. The service and the food are confusing. Feels like they don't want anyone there. Like you're in the way. Like you're annoying them. Odd place. Very expensive.

Kula Lodge is a great restaurant. Riding down Haleakala stop at Kula Lodge for a meal or just coffee and a snack. If you are not hungry still take a walk through the restaurant and the outside seating area it is beautiful. Our meals were wonderful and the coffee is always good. Enjoy

Had a romantic sunset dinner on the way down from Haleakala. Mtn location, beautiful gardens, ocean view. Recommend by locals. Wife had wood fired brick oven pizza. Very good. I had the salmon special. One of my BEST meals ever! The herbs on the salmon were excellent by themselves, but then the chef set it on a puff pastry surrounded... More

Our waiter Kai was attentive, we had the Brie appetizer. prime rib was good but the Black & Bleu Rib-eye was the best: Cajon crusted steak with bleu cheese.. the finished with strawberry short cake...yum! Drinks were potent also. Very good food and exceptional service.

Stopped here for Breakfast on our way back from Haleakalā National Park. Got the Mountain man, which was 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, and choice of meat. Toast was extra. Portion was small for a "Mountain Man" breakfast and very expensive. $30 for the meal and coffee. View though from the restaurant was nice. If you need to rest and recharge... More

After touring Kula Gardens, the hotel recommended Kula Lodge for lunch. It was not very busy, but it was a great choice. The restaurant overlooks beautiful gardens and a hillside and you can see the ocean in the distance on a clear day. The Hula onion soup was outstanding and very filling. I almost didn't have time for my main... More
