We stopped in to this pretty lodge after an early morning of watching the sunrise on Haleakula. The lodge is rustic in decor, but modern in conveniences and food selection. Fresh Maui coffee, a quiche filled with sweet Maui onions and goat chese, a huge breakfast burrito and cinnamon raisin French toast, completed our choices. There is an Art Gallery downstairs... More

Our concierge recommended this restaurant after spending the morning at Haleakala, and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious and the view was breathtaking. We had the ribs and the beef stroganoff. MUST have pineapple upside down cake for dessert! It was the best we have had all trip! Service was great and the food came out quick. Highly... More

We stopped here on our way up for a light lunch. Views were amazing. Food was very good and not overly priced. Our server was very pleasant and thoughtful. we even took a stroll around the gardens when we were done. Overall I highly recommend this place on your visit to or from the national park.

If you are going up to the top of the mountain to see the sunrise, plan on stopping here on your way down. good hot coffee (you will be cold) and great pancakes. Get the volcano special - bed of pancakes, layer of meat (ham, bacon, sausage), topped with eggs. They opened at 7:00am the day we went, and we... More

This place provided a unique view of the island that we did not expect and a welcome change of ambiance from coastal Maui. The restaurant overlooks the island with a bird's-eye view of the mountain down to the coast. Getting a good seat for the view is easy as the windows wrap around the dining area. The lodge really feels... More

The Kula Lodge is a wonderful place to watch the island below… and eat some great food doing it! Located “Up-Country” the lodge serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. We have visited for lunch, and can now add dinner dining to the list. We started with the Tomato Caprese salad which is a bit different than what is lsted on the... More

We made a reservation in advance through opentable although as it turned out, we didn't need to make a reservation for 4pm on a Thursday. We received a great table, although with the way that the restaurant is designed, many are good. We had the onion soup and tomato salad appetizers. Both were fresh and delicious. As mains. we had... On the basis of previous reviews we decided to have lunch at the Kula Lodge. Our experience was mixed to say the least. My partner chose the fish and chips which was good however the portion was more like a starter than a main course. My veggie burger was hugely disappointing; the salad and tomato had seen better days and... More

Just had an amazing late lunch at the Kula Lodge Restaurant in Maui. Quaint and cozy with delicious food overlooking beautiful terraced gardens. Excellent and courteous staff, very pleasant to visit with. Toured the gardens afterward to walk off lunch. Fairytale ambiance to the outdoor patio and gardens. Food was reasonably priced for Hawaii, averaging $25-$30 per entree.

Can't beat the view and service is excellent along with the food. Food is a bit pricy, but is excellent. We split the mahi feature entree and it was wonderful. Scallop appetizer was as well. Been here several times over the years and it is still worth the trip. Usually play 18 at Pukalani Golf Course and then take the... More
