This is one of the best places on Maui. The location is out of the way, but the view is fantastic and the menu is amazing. Had the caprisi salad with local tomato and the fish sandwitch with fresh caught fish. All were to die for.

My husband and I stayed at the Kula Lodge for two nights and had one breakfast and two dinners at their restaurant. We had such high hopes for their food, but we were disappointed in our meals. The pizza was boring with very sparse toppings. The organic roast chicken and beef stroganoff were average - nothing special. Breakfast was fine,... More

This place had been recommended to us by a friend. After watching a spectacular sunrise at the summit of the Haleakala Crater, we had hoped to chow down on their Belgian Waffles with strawberries and Macadamia nuts. However, we arrived after the 11 AM cutoff and these were no longer available. We had to wait while they set up for... More

A neighbor and I have been there in the past few months twice. Both times, the waiter was very helpful, even bringing drinks from the bar, when the bartender wasn't at the station. The chief came out to the table, to ask if everything was ok, which it was!

Just passing through and stopped to check it out for a future visit and WOW! What a fun find! I don't know about the menu but the view, gardens and studio were amazing! We were only here for less than 30 minutes and will definitely return to have lunch or dinner and tour the gardens!

This was one of the least expensive meals and best tasting that we ate in the islands. We got onion soup and a pizza and it completely filled the two of us up. Really enjoyed the view and the fire in the fireplace. Service was very good.

We were thinking of an early dinner after visiting the crater, stopped here on a whim. We were too early for dinner but had crab cakes and salads that were amazing!! Service and views superb. I'd go again for dinner, or lunch.

Wonderful atmosphere with extremely friendly staff. The views are wonderful and the fish wrap and fish sandwich was great, with a large portion of fresh mahi mahi.

We stopped here for lunch on our way back from Haleakala Crater. It was a very windy day, so we were shut in, but the 180 degree glass windows still provided us with breathtaking views of the valley below. Make sure you walk through the garden behind the lodge after lunch. Excellent pizzas cooked in a brick oven just below... More

I really wanted to review this because A) we went there because of TripAdvisor and B) there were beautiful gardens that most people don't mention. There is a Garden Terrace outside the restaurant that's like a mini-botanical garden that's free to visit! The food was excellent for breakfast, particularly after the long and arduous drive up to Haleakala for sunrise!

Thank Ellie B
