We stopped here on the way home from the Road to Hana. Long day and we were tired and more than a bit hungry. We were seated by one of the windows and was treated to one of the best views of Haleakala. Some of us even wandered around the grounds and were treated to some spectacular flowers and plants.... On the way back to our hotel from visiting the Haleakala crater sunrise viewing we stopped for breakfast. Food, service, atmosphere and surroundings were outstanding. Breakfast was delicious, a bit pricey but it is Maui. The grounds we're beautiful maintained and worth a walk around.

We stopped here after sunrise and got one of the last open tables. The crab cakes Benedict was amazing and the buttermilk pancakes topped with macadamia nuts was pretty good too. We also got a side of bacon (nice and crispy) and 2 juices and our bill was $50. A little expensive in my opinion. Unfortunately we were here on... More

I live here on Maui and am accustomed to having flaky service and paying higher prices for just "regular" food, but this visit went beyond the charity and understanding that I can usually muster for a restaurant. When our plates were dropped in front of us, we both took one look at our meals and realized that even sending them... More

Great stop on the way down the mountain. Being hungry doesn't hurt but thought the food and drinks were excellent. Pancakes, omelettes and smoothies were all a hit. Service was great even if a bit of a wait for the food. The view and gardens out back are both beautiful. Spend some additional time on the top of the mountain... More

Pros: views, large portions, good food Cons: slow service, overpriced Breakfast on our way down from Haleakala. 30 minute wait, the restaurant is very small, but time went quickly because we walked around the gardens out back. View and gardens were spectacular. Server was very accommodating to substitutions, food was good, and portions were huge. I would recommend splitting the... More

A few large groups, including our party of nine, had stopped at Kula Inn for dinner following a visit to Haleakala to view the sunset. The management called in an extra server to insure the diners were properly taken car of. The food was moderately priced, but excellent in quality. Service was well above average for Maui.

Our breakfast was really good (probably made better by our extreme hunger from the early morning start!) and the view was breathtaking. A word of warning though, the room isn't climate controlled so you won't warm up after freezing on Haleakala all morning! Definitely a worthy stop on the ride down.

The perfect rest stop for the ride down from Haleakala. The Loco Moco is to die for. The views are breathtaking. Don't rush down the mountain. Take time out and enjoy this place.
