This guy knows his market which has ups and downs. No competition means he doesn't have to pour extra quality and money into his coffee. On the other hand he knows the places and routes on the mountain. Bonus he is a laid back guy who seems to enjoy his customers.

Driving to view one of the most amazing sights in the world (Sunrise at Haleakala), we came across a vision in the dark. We left so early in the morning, nothing was open. We stopped for coffee, a snack, an a souvenir mug. A great stop!!!

If you are in Maui, don't miss enjoying the sunrise from the top of the highest point in the island..

I wouldn't recommend wasting your time to stop along the way up. Coffee was weak, and the guy that served us seemed to have an attitude. There isn't a lot of places to stop along the way up to the volcano, so if you were planning on getting coffee, I would recommend to grab some before you leave town.

Great place on the way to Haleakala Crater. Very friendly people and the only place you can get warm coffee at 3 a.m. Mahalo!

The guy was very friendly and helpful. He gave us a huge map and drew directions all over it. Good selection of items - the coffee could've been stronger but the bagels and cream cheese were awesome!! Make sure you stop because it IS the last place for coffee and breakfast.

Expensive but you have no choice. But I will say the coffee was really really good and was HOT. We had brought our own snacks (chocolate chip cookies for me) so this was the spot to stop and get hot coffee.

After getting up at 2:30 am and driving without coffee, this stand is such a welcome site in the wee hours of the morning! The coffee was strong, the chocolate muffins were delicious, and the service was superb! Very pleasant guy for such an early hour--and really helpful advice. Loved it!

Stopped at this place on the way up to see the volcano sunrise at 3 AM. The guy working was very cheerful, informative, and funny! The hot chocolate was delicious and had marshmallow with sprinkles on top! Great customer service and definitely recommended!

Only guy out there on the side of the road before heading up the mountain. He was very cheerful at 3am and very informative. He served some much needed hot chocolate and tea along with pastries. Wish he was further up the hill. Very great service he's providing though!
