The last time I ate at this establishment the food was too salty for my taste buds. I would rather recommend Roasted Chiles that is across the street.

Seriously wish we hadn't chosen this place for takeout. We got their 'special' of the day (2 chimichangas for 2 people with the beans and rice). It was the most disgusting thing we've ever eaten for a meal. Deep fried, greasy, way too much cheese, burrito-type things, with tasteless refried beans and rice slopped inside a polystyrene takeout container. I... More

Amigos is locally run by locals. There are others around the island, but, this one has more ambience, TVs for sport watching, great margaritas and simple mexican fare. their seafood burritos and fajitas are the bomb. Great for kids- they even gave away a really cool puppet to my granddaughter because she was crying. It settled her out (2 years... More

This is my new favorite spot on Maui for Mexican - I've taken several people here, and they all enjoy the food. The service is pretty good, and the portions make this a good value. The shrimp ceviche is a nice little surprise.

Back on Maui for ten days, I find myself walking over to Amigos every morning for a breakfast of champions while tanning my stubbornly pallid legs at the outdoor seating. Love the Ultimato or the Don Picante omelets best. They come with roast potatoes, if you like, and they'll substitute beans for the bread. Yay! I went with a couple... More

Took my wife here for dinner, whilst we received good friendly service, both our meals were average, nothing amazing.

Great Meal, very authentic. We had lunch here and it was delicious and very reasonably priced. No drinks, we had only water and it was approx. $40US for lunch for 4.

Had dinner here and it wasn't bad, hardly authentic Mexican (maybe Gringo Mex). The chips are clearly from a place like Costco and the salsa lacks any kick to it. The rest of the food was satisfying but not something I would rush back to get.

This is my second time experimenting with Mexican food in Hawaii. The first was Oahu and this was the second and both times made me appreciate Mexican food on the west coast. It was bland, their "Spicy" salsa could be fed to a baby to help them go to sleep. Their margaritas, well it was lemonade with lime in it.... More

Service was awesome, food was delicious. We will go back for sure. There were 3 of us, we all ordered something different, and we all loved our food. Great portions for the price as well.
