Have had breakfast here on several occasions during this and a previous visit to Maui. Perfect poached eggs, and great omelettes. Good, friendly service.

Stopped in at Amigo's upon arrival in Kihei. Being from Oklahoma originally, I set a high bar for Tex Mex. But I've gotta say, they did an exceptional job. I had tacos and enchiladas and they were excellent, especially the tacos. Plentiful brisket and chicken, with fresh lettuce and cheese. My wife had maybe the best burrito that I've had... More

Guess I should have questioned an authentic Mexican restaurant in Hawaii, but figured it was worth a try. My chicken burrito was good, but my friends ordered breakfast, which was just barely ok. One has chilaquies and they weren't recognizable from any I've had in Mexico. On a brighter note, the service was great.

Great food, but I couldn't believe it when I got the bill and they charged for the tortillas. Aren't fajita's suppose to come with tortillas?

We went to Amigos twice, once on New Years Eve for a quick bite before a boat tour, and once for breakfast the morning after. Not a lot to say really, except the baha tacos are insanely good, the drinks are well priced and the breakfast is kind of bland. The service is great and happy hour is decent!

Sit outside and while you dine on some truly good Mexican food, you will most likely see at least one peacock (maybe even up to 10) in the grass area in front, as well as other chatty birds that want your food.

Stopped here after a day touring the west end of Maui. We are from Texas so have access to some of he best Tex/Mex around. This place didnt come close, but if you are looking for something to fill you up and feel like tex mex give it a try. I had the ground beef chimichanga which was pretty good.... More

This is very heavy out of a can food. The margaritas are made with sweet and sour - not fresh lime. Service is OK here but poor in Wailuku, where they are rude. Tried several time but bad every time.

Great tasting, large amounts! You can order for takeout too. Chimichangas and fajitas very tasty. Mexican decor.
