The fish here is exceptionally fresh and the sushi well prepared. The servers are friendly and attentive, and Hiro is masterful at his craft. Don't look for fancy rolls, or special sauces, this is simple sashimi, nigiri and maki, but it is all very good. Ask for Omakase, and let Hiro choose the best fish for you; you won't be... More

I love this place and will visit at least once anytime I'm on Maui. Sushi is fresh and delicious. Prices are typical for Maui and a little higher than mainland sushi, but much better and more island fresh selections. If you're reading this and you're already on island good chance you won't get in as reservations are needed at least... More

You won't get more authentic sushi cuisine elsewhere. Small cozy location that is run basically by the chef and what I assume is his wife. You sit at the bar and order directly from him. Only one chef, only seating for 10ish? Quality is great....if you'r ein the area, a must-try!

We have been to this wonderful little restaurant a few times and this is probably the best sushi as far as freshness on Maui. It's a sushi bar with one table so definitely have to make a reservation in advance. There is one sushi chef so he meticulously prepares everything with prestige. Order some sake or beer and enjoy yourselves... More

This restaurant is very small with not a lot of bells and whistles. You need to reserve at least a week ahead of time. It is all about the sushi. Just eat what the chef wants you to enjoy or you can order specific items. Gems like this deserve respect. I haven't had sushi in Japan, but I'd imagine this... More

Contrary to Trip Advisor reviews, the small sushi restaurant is good, not great. The fish is fairly fresh, but definitely not the best that we've ever had. Perhaps, because we live in Southern California, we're score. Very hard to make reservations, call around 7:45 PM, Hawaii time

We came here based on raving reviews on Tripadvisor but was thoroughly disappointed. This was our first time here. We had asked for the omakase selection but were treated with a blank look. We were directed at the chalk board to order off from there. And so we did. The sashimi platter ($30) consisted of 12 pieces of fish. Excellent... More

This is a sushi bar literally plus only one table for 4. Small but absolutely delicious sushi with all kinds of unique offerings. It is a small family run operation and requires reservations in advance due to its size. My son was emitting sighs of pleasure at each new sushi order and I had to agree. Please know that this... My review really has not changed from 5 years ago. This is still delicious fresh sushi served up in a tiny restaurant where you must make a reservation or risk being very disappointed. The chef and his wife are just lovely and you can not go wrong leaving the decision making to him - the omakase selection is perfection. Once... More

I have read some review about this restaurant before I went. This restaurant has to RSVP at least a week to two weeks ahead of time. Absolutely it worth to wait. The store is very small. So it wont fit a big group. Fishes are fresh. The size of sushi is excellent (one bite size. fish wrap around small rice).... More
