We were in Kihei coming from the big beach and our group of four decided to try this Thai restaurant. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding and friendly! We would highly recommend and return to this restaurant!!

Mellow vibe, stylish interior, and great food. Discount drinks for happy hour 4-6. Some local twists on Thai, as well as the classics. Menu lists heat levels for certain dishes, but they will adjust if you ask.

Excited to get a spicy meal. Ordered drunken fish. Menu went into great detail about how drunken means more spicy. What I got was fish and gravy. Zero spice will not be back.

Had lunch at Maui Thai Bistro and we (a group of four) were impressed with the food. the Green Papaya salad was crunchy, tangy, and tasty. The Panang curry dish I had was super delicious. One note - Their curry dishes are not served with...complimentary rice; rice is a separate order. But, everybody in the group enjoyed their food. Service was slow, but may be because were there mid-afternoon. They were already starting tables ready for dinner time.More

Dinner reservation for 6:30 and seated quickly. Restaurant was not yet busy. Clean tables, poor lighting. Waited 45 minutes for drinks to arrive. Long wait to order, long time waiting for food. Food is very tasty. Yellow curry tasty as was the egg plant with...beef. Service was terrible. Noticed other patrons getting up from tables to seek service. Noticed a brisk take out service; recommend enjoy the food- at home.More

This restaurant was a real find. They have delicious spicy Thai food and great vegetarian options as well! If you prefer no spice, just tell the server. The server was really nice and helpful. The seafood options are all excellent.

Maui Thai Bistro was very popular; with the restaurant doing a roaring trade in take-out as well as dine-in. The evening we were there the restaurant was full and a number of tables turned during the evening. After a slow start getting us seated, the...service was efficient. Food is standard Thai fare with all of the favourites available - Pad Thai, Pad See-Ew and a range of curries. One of our dishes was the Penang curry with macadamia nuts and beef short rib and it was excellent. This is a good solid Thai restaurant if you are looking for a reasonable meal out or a take-out while in Kihei.More

Nice service, delicious food. Despite many managers friendly at all times, normal waiting time for the food. Very pleasant for Europeans people because 15 minutes can pass between the starter and the main course😉

I can't read the question. We are 50-decades Senior residents in quarantine, can not leave. Treat for my husband lunch or dinner, want to surprise him. I can order something so it would be more payment/gratitude, Mahalo... More

I always ask for the spice to be mild, and ask the server to bring me spices on the side so I can adjust them to my pallet.
