Cozy dining area. Outdoor ocean front seating with gorgeous scenery. Relaxing atmosphere where you can sit and sip or dine and watch the waves.

Went for Happy Hour. Although the hostess (who must have been having a bad day) tossed us at the Sushi bar , the waitress was very efficient and the service was good. Nice variety of appetizers and sushi available (mainly in the 10-12 range), along with the standard drafts, mai tais (6.75) and margarita's. Gets pretty crowded around sunset, so... More

You cannot beat the view from the beachfront restaurant here. It spoils you. This time I found the food not as good as I had remembered it. The chicken with noodles in the Early Bird Dinner was bland. The spinach salad for lunch was plain and pricey. Finding a seat was easy, and everybody was most pleasant.

We made a reservation, and arrived at our required time. We approached what looked to be the seating queue and waited in line. No one said anything as we waited. Finally after about 20 minutes a very snarky hostess asked if we wanted to sit at the bar. We stated that we had dinner reservations 3 different times. Each time... More

We stayed at the Mana Kai and only ate at the 5 Palms once. The service was good. The four of us all agreed that it was the least remarkable of all the restaurants we ate at on our 10 day trip to Oahu and Maui. Maybe you will have a different experience.

This is a must every year for us, my husband and I love heading to the 5 Palms for Happy Hour! Late afternoon, grab a table with a view of the ocean, enjoy amazing Sushi, Ribs and cocktails while taking in the sunset. It really doesn't get better than this and there aren't many places to catch the sunset while... More

As a family we enjoyed a breakfast brunch here everyone except one person ordered the Hawaiian omelet. Interestingly they all looked slightly different some had more cheese, some had more veggies. Mine seemed fluffier but less of both cheese and veggies and no spinach was not to be found. One person ordered the Reuben and thoroughly enjoyed it it was... More

After yoga on the beach off to breakfast of a gigantic puffed pancake. Two shared and easily would have been divided among four. Coconut syrup instead of maple gets you ready for your next tropical drink. Fruit platter at $11 was skimpy and mainly non-tropical fruit. 5 for the view.

The view was spectacular and service was very good. Food was average. I would definitely visit the bar but wouldn't spend the money for average food.

We missed the proper entrance as cabbie dropped us off and said just go up the ramp. Realizing soon I was at a back entrance, staff just looked at me and I finally had to ask where the entry area was. We had a lovely seat by the stairs to the beach overlooking the lawn and ocean (I had requested... More
