Stopped here for lunch after a morning at Kamaole Beach. Friendly service and great food. If you like Mexican food this is the place. Fish tacos were yummy. Good variety of selections to choose from.

I was told abut this place from a neighborhood resident the other day while chatting in the pool. I specifically went here on Tuesday as they have a deal on a variety of tacos (as well as cheap margaritas. You could tell this place is a local hot spot by the decor; nothing fancied up, just enough to keep it... More

We have been on Maui for a week now and Fred's Mexican food certainly is the best Mexican cuisine we have had - and the only, but it was good and very plentiful. A bit more expensive than back in the states, but what isn't? So, Fred has certainly created a Mexican atmosphere, all the normal dishes and earned a... More

This is a most popular place in Kihei for any meal but especially a favourite for breakfast! Go early if you don't like lineups and try the banana pancakes with coconut syrup!

Arrived in Maui hungry & Came in for a quick meal. Both the fish tacos and burrito were delicious. The portions were huge and the quantity of fresh guacamole crazy. We could not finish but we're glad we found them on a late arrival on Maui

This Restaurant was great for a family. The food portions are huge. But the drinks (at least the frozen Margarita) is watery - it wasn't nice at all.

Food was greasy and not much for the cost. Went in for breakfast. Server was not so friendly. Bathroom needed to be cleaned.

We enjoyed the location on the patio with a view of the beach. Seating was prompt and service was very good the entire time. Loved the Fajitas (and the salsa!) - four of us shared two orders as we had already had appies elsewhere and it was more than enough (just ask for more tortillas). Made nachos with the leftovers... We have a tradition when we visit Maui. On our last night, we always go to Fred's for dinner. After our last visit to Fred's I think it's time for a new tradition. Service was slow. It wasn't busy so I did expect to have much better service. The food was just ok. The rice was very bland. It does... More

This restaurant was just okay and I would not go back. The service was a bit slow and food was mediocre. I would not recommend Fred's.

Thank R-mattie
