Many people drive down the road to Hana. But it really is the road to Coconut Glen's. His delicious ice cream and freshly baked cakes alone are reason enough to take this trip. Miss it and you miss an important part of your life. Thanks...Glen!More

This ice cream is good, but overpriced. The employee was not friendly; he actually seemed annoyed when I asked a question. A tiny scoop was $7 and they only accept cash. This is a nice treat on the Hana Highway, but it's more convenient (and...possibly cheaper?) just to buy it at a shave ice shop on the island.More

Superb! I had 2 scoops, Lemongrass Ginger and Lilokai (tastes like mango) and I think it was $7. You can sample too, just keep your wooden spatula. Ice cream comes in a cardboard bowl. I am really glad that about how environmentally conscious most of...Hawaii is. 😀More

Glad I took the time to pull over here. Was a perfect pick-me-up for the last part of the drive to Hana.

The ice cream itself might be a little overrated but the staff is fun & friendly. The Merry mint flavor was probably above average tasting though.

Wow delicious ice cream made from coconut milk, so non dairy and vegan. But oh so delicious! The original coconut is most popular flavor and you can mix up to 2 flavors. The special flavor today was Macadamia nut ice cream. Both ice cream flavors...were a great complement. $7 for a cup - cash only!More

After driving to Hana, on our way back, we stopped at Coconut Glen’s. It was recommended as a good spot to stop at. The person serving the ice cream certainly wasn’t very friendly (unlike most other places we went to) and the price isn’t posted...anywhere. So we paid $7 each for one scoop of ice cream. That is expensive. Was it good? It was okay. Overall, I found the stop was a bit of a disappointment.More

We went to Coconut Glen's twice during our trip to Hana - once on the way and again on the third day of our stay. We got the coconut and lemongrass ginger the first day and the coconut and chocolate chip the second time. Both...were unbelievably good. We only stumbled upon it because of one of those ubiquitous tourist books they have at the airport said to stop here on the way to Hana. If not for that, there would have been a good chance we would have driven right by. They charge 7 bucks for 2 scoops, cash only. The coconut had small coconut pieces, the lemongrass ginger had small pieces of candied ginger, the chocolate chip had a bunch of chocolate chips in it. Quite possibly some of the best ice cream we've ever had.More

Delicious vegan treat, I had the banana rum raisin. Yummy and much needed during a really long day (Road to Hana)
