We had dinner at Nuka twice last week. It is a superb Japanese restaurant with very friendly service. Mostly a local crowd from what we could tell. Panko fried oysters and miso butterfish were great. Also ahi ceviche. Everything they do is wonderful. Definitely worth...More
Really nice place. Not large, no reservations and popular so put your name in and relax. The atmosphere is very warm and a lot of locals will dine here. Had the Nuka roll which was delicious. Everything fresh and tasty. One of their claims to...More
Five of us had lunch on Thursday. We ordered Bento box, unagi rolls, and tacos. Not so impressed by their gyoza but otherwise, they were delicious. Considering the price, there could be more food on the price but it is in Maui. The wait staff...More
Stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Maui late in May. Fantastic weather, the hotel is amazing, penguins in the lobby. We’ve been to Maui 3 times and drive quite a bit. Food throughout Hawaii is great but the seafood in Maui is a step above....More

At the front door there is a sign-in sheet. Sign yourself into the sheet ASAP and do not just stand around waiting to be served. We park across the street in the lot. Be very careful parking anywhere just out side the restaurant as most spaces are reserved and illegal for you to park, either because of the mall or the US Post Office right next door.
