The views at the bar are great, but the appetizers are overpriced. Small portions and bland flavors.

A great place to watch a sunset and a traditional sunset ceremony, complete with the sabreing of a champagne bottle!! Great drinks in a opulent atmosphere.

We went to the bar for cocktails at sunset and it was totally packed. Some of the cocktails were really good, but my pina colada was really sub par. I watched her make it with a carton of pina colada mix, ice and a blender. And it was really expensive. But you go here for the view anyway, so its... More

We went to the St Regis Bar to have wine, pupus and watch the sunset. It was a busy scene but the service was good and we enjoyed both the wine and food. Because the sun was so strong and warn we moved inside but were able to move outside to watch the sun set. Make sure you bring your... More

The bar encompasses the terrace overlooking Hanalei Bay and Puff the Magic Dragon as well as a large serene comfortable lounge. It is a gathering place at sunset and beyond. They have a bar menu that ranges from sliders to sushi. We have gone there for the sunset, dined using the bar menu and stayed on for the entertainment. When... More

Beautiful view of the mountains and Hanalei bay. This time, too cloudy for sunset. Too many gnats flying around, guest were putting the coasters over their drinks. Our hostess was great, working hard. Best app, the shrimp!

Our experience was excellent with two of the restaurants at the St. Regis Hotel, The Makana Terrace and Kaui Grill. One of the best meals ever, beef tenderloin, cooked perfectly. The only problem we had was with the trip advisor website menu guide, which posts menu's that are NOT from the restaurants at which we ate. This initiated an uncomfortable... More

Ate/drank here often during my stay. The bartenders were great people, with a few locals that have worked there for many years that were more than willing to share insight into the area/island. Quality food and drink, but very much on the high end in terms of price.

Went here for the sunset, got there right before 6 and got a table front and center. I see people mentioning high prices for drinks but they are $16 for specialty cocktails, not much more than elsewhere and solid beers are $7-8. The views are worth it alone and they give each table snacks if you are only drinking and... More
