Dropped by the St. Regis in Princeville which is a beautiful hotel. Wanted to have lunch and were surprised the only place open was the poolside bar and grill. Great location near the water with stunning views. Food was average, draft beers not available on this day and the bottled beer was warm. Unless you are getting a burger for... More

The setting is really beautiful, but the food is terrible. Guacamole obviously came from a jar. Poke Bowl was fishy and vein-y/ chewy. Even the hot dog was burned and chickens eating off the table of uncleared plates was not awesome. Poolside, so very convenient, but food is below average.

A must go to grab a bite and lounge by the pool and the beach. Catch the gorgeous sunset! Great attentive staff and the ultimate get away to relax.

We had a delicious dinner here...the view of the bay and sunset is great. The wine selection is one of the best I've seen....your only limitation is your pocketbook. We had a couple of bottles of some Spanish red wine that were delicious. Our food was superb... steaks, fish...even made a gluten free dish for our daughter-in-law. Everyone's meal was... More

Its so easy to fall into the lazy routine of never leaving the resort you are at and eating only hotel food. Tough to leave this pool so you pay costly hotel food prices (33%+ over outside restaurants) for just average food. Best item was the two mahi fish tacos. ($22!) Anyway, try dragging your loved one away from this... More

We had snorkeled at Tunnels all morning so were just too tired to leave the hotel again. Sat under a canopied table to get out from the light rain. Beautiful location poolside next to the beach overlooking Hanalei Bay. Excellent and friendly servers. Food average but least expensive of all three restaurants at the hotel. Kitchen closes at 5:30pm, drinks... More

Not cheap ($6 for a soft drink) but the food is good and service is friendly. Beautiful view of the bay.

We were staying nearby and walked to the St Regis to have a look around on our first day on the island. Stopped for a Mai Tai at the Nalu Kai grill by the pool, looking out on the ocean. Lovely view, which is probably why they charge $16 per mai tai. They're no better than any other mai tai... More

Don't be fooled by the pictures on the St Regis website, it's not that grand. Yes it's a nice location, but the menu is average, food quality the same, service poor and watered down cocktails. Not a good experience unless all you are interested in is the location of what is in the end a pool bar.

Thank shrop
