First off, this is a fine dining establishment inside the St. Regis, prices are not cheap. This review is in reference to the view, ambiance, and quality of food. We started off with the scallops with Hawaiian corn succotash, edamame, and coconut garlic sauce. The flavors were incredible and very light! We then got the Nut and Seed Crusted Mahi... More

Kauai Grill restaurant by Jean-Georges is worth going to. Possibly the best lunch I ever had was at Jean-Georges in NYC so I had high expectations for Kauai Grill. I was not disappointed. My surf and turf entree was cooked to perfection. The maitre d' knew it was my birthday so they send a moist and delectable chocolate cake on... More

Definitely make a reservation if you want to dine here! Otherwise you will be seated the furthest spot away from the sunset! Upon arrival we were greeted by the hostess who asked if we were guests before asking us how many were in our party- once I told her not only were we not guests but we also did not... More

We enjoy great food and don't mind paying for it. The food here is good, but more of an above average type of good. The prices however, would suggest amazing food--which it was not. The ambiance is lacking as well--unless you're seated at the windows on a clear day.

My husband and I came here because we heard it was the best restaurant on the island with the most beautiful view. It did not disappoint! We came early and were seated by the windows. The sunset was spectacular! Dusty (sp.?) was our server and he was delightful. We both had mahi mahi and the dinner was exquisite. We will... More

The views from this property are breath taking and the restaurant is no exception, get an early reservation and ask to be sat near the window. The setting sun with be somewhat blinding at times, but it is worth it. Our server was fantastic, promptly correcting an error in the meal when the food was served and providing us with... More

My husband and I stayed at the St Regis Princeville to celebrate the milestones of first Mother's Day and first Father's Day ! ( We are first time parents, and this was our first real vacation with the baby.) While we loved the St Regis, we were the opposite of impressed with the Kauai Grill. It is a high end... More

The Kauai Grill is top notch. Coming from a city with many great high end restaurants I can honestly that this place ranks right up there with the best of the best. The service was excellent and they allow you to bring your own wine and charge a cork fee. Try the scallops, bone marrow, and kona lobster. You won't... More

After a horrible time in a VRBO rental, my husband and I moved to the St. Regis for our last night on Kauai. We treated ourselves to a wonderful meal! The food was amazing, fresh, and healthy. Ask for Mel to be your server!!!!

Where else can you see the magical beach while experiencing wonderful food? The view and the panorama of Halalei Beach (where parts of the movie Descendants was shot) is breathtaking. Slightly expensive but worth it.
